Deathmatch Made in Heaven Max Payne 3 DLC Is Coming January 22nd

On January 22nd, we’ll be bringing you the final Max Payne 3 DLC pack for all platforms and it’s an action-packed doozy stuffed with new co-op and competitive modes, plus other awesome treats for Max Payne 3 Multiplayer.

Stay tuned in the coming days as we’ll be revealing what’s in the Deathmatch Made in Heaven Pack in greater detail – but as you can see in the pack’s official artwork above, Max and Passos will no doubt have their hands full…

The Deathmatch Made in Heaven Pack will be available in all territories on January 22nd for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE and $9.99 on PC and PSN in North America (this pack will be available for PS3 players in Europe on January 30th). Of course, Rockstar Pass owners will receive this content at no additional charge.

In honor of the recent release of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for select iOS and Android devices we're giving away 10 Prize Packs of Vice City Anniversary Collection gear and collectibles over at the Rockstar Facebook page.

Each Prize Pack's got 4 tees (both the Blue and Grey Body Fader Tees plus the Pink and Black Vice City Logo Tees) as well as the Head Band, Rubik's Cube, Beach Ball, Money Clip, and Pin Set. You've only got until Monday, January 28th, 2013 to enter. Winners will be chosen at random and announced in early February. It's pretty mind-blowing that games you formerly played via loading up a disc on your cutting-edge gaming console or PC rig just ten years ago can now be downloaded intangibly and played on your cell phone in a matter of minutes. Insane. Although one particular drawback of today's at-your-fingertips-digital-entertainment-on-demand world is that you no longer get the experience of unwrapping the cellophane and packaging and diving in to explore those printed manuals, liner notes - and in the particular case of our games, those quite helpful printed map posters.

As a friendly service for everyone downloading the Vice City Anniversary Edition release for mobile devices and navigating their way around the beaches, mansions, nightclubs, glitz and ghettos of Vice City on iPads or iPhones or Droids - as well as those who've been re-familiarizing themselves with the vast and diverse terrain of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas thanks to last week's PSN release - we're pleased to offer high resolution JPGs you can download and print if you'd like of the exact game map posters that were included in the original releases (high-resolution multifunction printer sold separately of course).

Grab 'em from the Rockstar Downloads page in all the popular desktop, social media background and avatar sizes.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Now Available for Download on PSN - Watch "The Introduction"

As promised yesterday, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is now available to download from the PlayStation Store. The game is currently available at the PlayStation Store in North America, Europe and Australia.

To help prepare you to go back-back to SA, what better to watch than "The Introduction" - the original 20-minute prologue video that highlights the action in the days before the story in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas begins. The Introduction is told from various characters' viewpoints, which are intertwined together to reveal the network of organized crime forces operating throughout the state of San Andreas. Tension builds as threats are carried out, stakes are raised and communication breaks down. In Los Santos, a drive-by shooting in Grove Street Family's territory ignites a series of events to be further explored in the game.

And quite timely in the midst of our Vice City Anniversary celebrations, "The Introduction" also helps provide some insight into characters like Ken Rosenberg and Kent Paul who made the trip from Vice's sunny beaches in pursuit of fortune and fame in Los Santos in 1992. Xbox 360 players can also get San Andreas from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
 

Complex's Favorite Vice City Soundtrack Songs and Dialogue Soundboard

Our friends at Complex appear to be pretty stoked about the release of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City 10th Anniversary Edition. A week ago they compiled this list of their top 25 favorite soundtrack songs from the game, and they've also unveiled a fun soundboard (embedded below) that features dialogue from some of the game's most memorable characters as well as the soothing sounds of firearms being discharged.

As with all pop culture or entertainment-based lists, there's some subjectivity involved so let us know in the comments what you think they got right, what they missed or both...
