10 New GTA Online Rockstar Verified Jobs: Drift Paradise, Hipster Rage and More

Posted on June 25 2014, 12:56pm | Author: R* M | Filed Under: Social Club, Games

The newest round of Rockstar Verified GTA Online Jobs features a mixture of Land Races, Deathmatches and Captures that have caught our eye recently. Ten new Jobs have been given our stamp of approval, including Races perfect for drifting (and some of the retro rides included in The "I'm Not a Hipster" Update), a Deathmatch on a wasted bridge and a Capture Job featuring a gang of angry hipsters stashing contraband in 24/7 stores.

Read on for all the details on these new Verified Jobs and click each Job title to add it to your game's bookmarked Jobs. And keep an eye out for more Rockstar Verified Jobs in the very near future, including the chosen selections from our #ImNotAHipster Event Weekend Creator Competition.

Taking in the view in Holy Drift Mountain

Holy Drift Mountain - created by Heavy Magic
This Lap Race for Sports cars takes us along a picturesque route from downtown Vinewood, through Vinewood Hills and back again. Ambient traffic is disabled by default so that you can really carve up the winding, high speed corners in search of perfect lines - just don't get too distracted by the stunning view on the way down. Before getting Verified, Holy Drift Mountain had been played nearly 6,000 times and its popularity is entirely justified.

Far Out LOOP - created by Pakelikea
This technical road Race twists around the vineyards of Grapeseed and has Supercars as its default class. Several tight turns and hazards such as farm equipment and drainage ditches create plenty of opportunities to tangle with the opposition, and a looping section maximizes the chances for collisions as the pack spreads out. A great spectacle, don't be surprised to see this one in our live streamed Crew Battles soon.

Sky high combat in Maze Bank Fight

The Maze Bank Fight - created by N7 - Devestator
A Contend Capture of epic proportions, this Job sees two teams battle it out in Buzzards over a single Capture Object on top of the Maze Bank Tower. As if that weren't a tall order in itself, RPG wielding goons on the helipad won’t make it any easier. Once players have collected the package, they can either get back in their helicopter and fly back to their base, or parachute off and race back at ground level.

Hipster Happy Hour - created by Foghat1977
A shining example of quality over quantity, Hipster Happy Hour is only the second Job Foghat1977 has published, but this exciting Sports Race through Downtown and Vinewood shows considerable talent. Bearing some similarity to the popular Rockstar Created Race “Downtown Underground”, it works well with Traffic off and features excellent Prop placement to form a couple of unexpected corners.

Fighting over a loose bag in Hold: Shopping Spree

Hold: Shopping Spree - created by Skilledscout
Skilledscout, the leader of the Sir In A Suit Crew, gets down to business with this sprawling Hold Capture set around the beachfront villas of Chumash. The coastal town is really brought to life by dangerous Actors occupying shops and protecting the Capture Objects at all costs. Once you've managed to elude them, the escape path to each Capture Point is a breezy dash along the Great Ocean Highway. Just hope an opponent isn't waiting for you when you get there.

Marios Race - created by Fifides
Set in downtown Los Santos this short Lap Race sends Sports cars weaving through highway and street-level traffic, and features a solid mix of sharp turns and wide straights for overtaking. It's also well suited to Compacts. A savvy racer might want to hang back in second place going into the final straight and use slipstream to power over the small ramp just before the finish line.

A wasted bridge is the setting for an intimate shootout in Quarantine

Quarantine - created by Raymond Calitri
"The bridge is dead. Fight to survive." reads the description for this Deathmatch set on a section of the Elysian Fields Freeway that comes from a regular on GTAForums’ content subforum. Fitting the ‘quarantine’ theme quite nicely, weapons and ammo are limited and the road is littered with wrecked vehicles so tactical play and ammo scavenging are crucial.

Obstacle What? - created by GSXR01570
GSXR's motto is "Work Hard, Play Hard, Game Harder" and it's clearly paying off judging by this challenging obstacle Motorbike Race. You start out in downtown Los Santos, and race to the edge of the Grand Senora Desert and back. Along the way you’ll have to deal with high speed chicanes, obstacle jumps and up to 15 other players vying for position.

Rattlesnake Run - created by a_smitty56
Nonchalant Dominance Crew member a_smitty56's Supercar Race takes place on the road section around the El Burro Heights oil field. We used part of this route in Rockstar Created Race “Dock Ring” but it's a surprisingly underused location among the Creator community. Lots of twists, turns and wooden fences that you can push other players through make for a competitive Race where aggression is a virtue.

Taking to the surf to score some kills in Sonuva Beach

Sonuva Beach - created by Handcuff Charlie
Handcuff_charlie's first Verified Job Pier Pressure II has already seen plenty of play time in our Rockstar live-streams. Sonuva Beach is another creation showcased on GTAForums - a tight little Deathmatch that’s been marked out entirely with user-placed Props on the Palomino Highlands Beach. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into Prop placement to give this DM a central ‘focus’, choke points and alternate routes. Weapons are restricted to shotguns but grenade and Molotov pickups are placed around the map to spice things up and provide tactical variety.

Please note that in addition to occasionally changing Job names due to taste, copyright or other reasons - we also from time to time will make other small edits to players' Jobs before making them Rockstar Verified. This includes, but is not limited to modifying spawn points, improving checkpoints or increasing/decreasing the amount of weapon picks ups for a particular Job. Once Jobs are Rockstar Verified, they become available for play across both platforms, so whether you're on Xbox 360 or PS3, you'll have all these newly Verified creations available in your next Freemode session (you can also bookmark them at the Social Club for easy access in your next session).

Go ahead and post your Job below in the comments (only once, please don't spam) with a punchy explanation of why it's worth checking out. We're always looking for new player-created Jobs to add to the Rockstar Verified program and the best way to get noticed is to have a solid Race or Deathmatch that's been thoroughly tested by the community and refined into the most fun and fair experience it can be.

GTA Online Rockstar Verified Jobs: 3 New Deathmatches and a New Capture plus a Few Familiar Faces

Posted on May 30 2014, 1:04pm | Author: R* M | Filed Under: Social Club, Games

Along with several Crews standing out as hives of Creator activity, we're also seeing a few individuals making their mark with the GTA Online Creator, earning their second Rockstar Verified Job honors this week. This latest batch also includes some tight, technical Deathmatches plus six new Races covering everything from high-concept to high jumps. Head over to each Job's Social Club page now and add them to your game to play them for yourselves, and keep an eye out for demonstrations of these Jobs on upcoming Rockstar live streams.

Super cars take flight n Jumps-R-Us

 Jumps 'R' Us - Created by Evan3737
With Jobs titled Jump It Like It's Hot, Jump The Mountain and Jump-A-Thon in his back catalogue, Evan3737 knows how to make a jumping Race! Jumps 'R' Us diverges from the usual pattern of standard Highway jump Races though. In Jumps 'R' Us, a series of ramps launch racers between different road levels in Vinewood Hills, all the while taking in glorious views of downtown Los Santos as they go. A key feature is ramps placed at the end of long downhill sections, allowing players to build up the necessary speed to get some serious airtime.

Zancudo Outskirts - Created by kidkolumbo
A “small and thoughtful Deathmatch designed around 4 v 4 play” and one of the most balanced user-created Deathmatches we’ve played, we stumbled across kidkolumbo's Creation via a promotional post on the GTA Content subreddit (a great place to discover fun community creations). As kidkolumbo explains "this map was created to take advantage of what type of shooter GTA is: a third person shooter. Props are littered smartly across the map, to shorten sightlines and provide safe havens for players working their way around." Players must always remain cautious of getting flanked and consider their team’s position and movement carefully. Weapon pickups entice players out of cover and into the line of fire, with the most valuable weapons in the least well covered areas. Teamwork and communication is crucial.

4x4s tour Vinewood Hills in Baja Hangtime

Baja Hangtime - Created by deejayb1874
A fun Race for off-road vehicles around the Vinewood Hills, this is a fairly long Race that features on and off-road sections, a tricky hairpin and one huge jump down a hill side that will have you going back for more. We especially enjoyed skidding our way around this one in the Bifta, but the faster car classes will allow you to get some truly spectacular air from the ramp half way around the lap. When not hanging out with the notorious Red Rum Racing Crewdeejayb1874 is a Commissioner of D1rty12 - a GTA Forums Crew who have been playing together since 2008. Any Social Club member looking for inspiration for their own Crew website should also to check out http://d12gaming.com.

Sultans of Swing - Created by NittyDon
Yet another member of the Red Rum Racing Crew has their Job Verified: NittyDon has Created a Race for Sultans only along the dirt tracks in the Vinewood Hills. Easing off the accelerator at the crucial moment will allow you to navigate the tight twisting turns with a satisfying racing line, so be sure to choose this as a Non-Contact Race for a pure driving contest. Keep eyes peeled for a few sharp drops and inconveniently placed trees on the downhill sections.

A bag carrier is intercepted on the way down Mt. Chiliad in Contend: Highest Treasure

Contend: Highest Treasure - Created by RikkiVercetti
Having invited RikkiVercetti to play his first Verified JobGTA: That's My Rhino with us in the High Life Event Weekend live stream, Rikki has come up with the goods again. This Capture, similar to Contend: Adventure Time! sees two teams race to the top of Mt. Chiliad in Froggers or Vestras to take on the armed militia guarding the bounty at the top. Prime that SMG as you abandon your aircraft and glide onto the roof of the shed. On the way back down, look out for any chancers hanging out by your base looking to snap the parachute strings (and necks) of incoming bag carriers.

The Valedictorian - Created by Fachuro
Fachuro racks up his second Rockstar Verified Job with The Valedictorian. In keeping with The Academic and others, this is a high concept Race utilizing a woefully underused Sedan vehicle class. Wide sweeping turns combine with tight chicanes making car choice more important than ever. The Super Diamond takes the cake on speed and acceleration, but it's lack of traction and braking means it won't do you much good on the sharp turns. Stick with the Schafter, and prepare for a high re-playability factor: you'll want to practice until you can nail each corner perfectly.

Close quarters carnage beneath the pier in Pier Pressure II

Pier Pressure II - Created by handcuff_charlie
Handcuff_charlie is a prolific Job creator with 90 published Jobs right now and an active profile in GTAForums’ content subforum. In Pier Pressure II, two teams face-off amongst the forest of wooden pillars beneath the Del Perro Pier. Opponents running at speed between pillars will be difficult to pick off with the handgun, so wait for them to get close before blowing them away with a shotgun. Alternatively, join the scramble for the single RPG at the top of the map and take aim at the gas cylinders for minimum effort but maximum results. Wrecked buses complete the scene of dereliction - use grenades to lure out anyone camping inside. It’s one of the few 4 team Deathmatches to pass our way and works brilliantly with 8 players, but supports up to 16.

Underground Shootout - Created by The_Jackal_4563
Having played through many Jobs created in this underground tunnel that didn't quite cut it, The_Jackal_4563's is the first we've found that really makes the area feel right. This is an intense, close-quarters Deathmatch with three different levels that demands tactical play. Sightlines are short so keep an eye on the minimap and use combat rolls to get around corners, close enough for a quick clean melee kill. The_Jackal_4563 has littered the map with mid-power, close range weapons that are perfect for dispensing any opponents who are getting up in your grill.

Watching the sunset over Blaine County from The Gordo Run

The Gordo Run - Created by matty256
A Race for "extreme off-roaders" over a dangerous and unforgiving trail in the northeast corner of Blaine County. A seemingly purpose-built bike path takes you up and over the peak of Mount Gordo, past the weather station and back around the side of the mountain. Stick to just two laps for this long Race, and make sure that you don't make the same mistakes the second time around. Reminiscent of Stream Racer from the last batch of Verified Jobs, skilled Sanchez riders need only apply - there are challenging turns, blind bends and death defying drops protected by only flimsy fences. Survive by the skin of your tires.

Los Santos GP Inner Loop - Created by Broughy1322
A "tight, technical, and tricky prospect" - this Grand Prix-style Race for Super cars takes you through downtown Los Santos and lower Rockford Hills. The Entity XF is a good choice for this (when is it not?) given the excellent traction and braking combined with punchy acceleration for the short straight-aways. Tricky sections through the hospital and under the Daily Globe building change up the feel of the Race as players are forced to reduce their speed. The Race really stands out due to very carefully considered prop placement to mark the route - from low tire walls to flashing arrows and a few well-placed shipping containers to cut off any shortcuts.  Attention to detail from Broughy1322 should come as no surprise, given the in-depth review of each of the new High Life Update vehicles on his YouTube channel.

GTA Online Rockstar Verified Jobs Update: The Roads Less Traveled

The High Life Event Weekend this Fri-Sun May 16-18

Posted on May 15 2014, 10:50am | Author: R* M | Filed Under: Social Club, Games

They say if you've got it - flaunt it. All this weekend Friday May 16th through Sunday May 18th, step out from your luxe Los Santos pad, and take that shiny new Dinka Thrust or Massacro out for a spin to reap special GTA$ and RP bonuses happening all around town as part of the High Life Social Club Event Weekend. In celebration of this week's High Life Update release, stocked with new apartments, high-end vehicles and weaponry and special new game features - we've got a slate of weekend-only opportunities to get bonus RP and increased GTA$ payouts plus chances to score rare gear and GTA$ prizes.

DOUBLE GTA$ PAYOUTS ON HIGH STAKES IMPROMPTU RACES

We've upped the ante especially for those who live in Los Santos' fast lane. Money doesn't grow on trees but it does hang from the helpless saps cruising the LS streets and all weekend, High Stakes Impromptu Races will make plucking it from them all the sweeter. Stakes and payouts to Impromptu Races will be doubled so lining up in your Pegassi Zentorno against a mark carries exhilirating big time risk and reward. You can start an Impromptu Race via the Interaction Menu and remember: you've got to accelerate to accumulate.

BET LIMIT INCREASED FOR ALL JOBS

Put your money where your mouth is. For all high rollers, the Max Bet limit for all Jobs will be raised to GTA$10,000 so you can lay both cash and cajones on the table.

TRIPLE RP IN GOLF AND TENNIS

And because even relaxation should come with an attractive rate of return, all golf and tennis RP bonuses will be tripled all weekend. That means a birdie will see you earn 600 RP while a cheeky hole-in-one on the short Hole 6 will put 3000 RP on your scorecard and turn your opponents greener than the fairway.

EVENT CRATE DROPS

Look for a windfall of valuable commodities dropping from on high with Event Crate Drops falling from the skies in such locations as the Vinewood Sign, the Observatory, Del Perro Pier, La Fuenta Blanca horse stables and the Vinewood Racetrack. The Crates will be stuffed with huge RP bonuses as well as GTA$ stacks, heavy-duty RPGs, miniguns, sticky bombs and more.

#HIGHLIFE SNAPMATIC CONTEST

Snap your flashiest shots showing off exactly how you're living the High Life between now and end of day Sunday and tag them #HIGHLIFE for a chance to win big. We're looking for your most epic, most creative, most amusing or most artfully composed moments over the weekend featuring any of the new apartments, luxury vehicles, toasts/celebrations, haute outfits, or weaponry from The High Life Update. We'll pick five (5) favorites to award GTA$1M as well as the exclusive 'HIGHLIFE' in-game vanity license plate to deck out your shiny new ride.

10 New GTA Online Rockstar Verified Jobs: "The Watch Tower" Capture, "Criss Cross Dock Race" and More

Posted on May 8 2014, 1:51pm | Author: R* M | Filed Under: Games

With multiple game modes now to choose from, Creators have more tools than ever to make their Job stand out from the crowd. If you haven't already, don't forget to check out our tips articles on making killer Deathmatches and Races, and this week's tips to create smart, balanced Captures. Or if you want to find out firsthand what it takes to get Verified, head into GTA Online now to play this brand new batch of 10 in the Rockstar Verified section of the Pause menus, or follow the links to their Social Club pages to bookmark them for easy access.

Hit that ramp at top velocity in Criss Cross Dock Race.

Criss Cross Dock Race - Created by Wolfman211

Wolfman211 does his bit for Queen, Country and the English Pride Crew with this 8-player Land Race around the docks that picks up directly where previously Verified Job "4-way Madness" left off. With an interconnected network of paths and ramps amongst the shipping containers, Criss Cross Dock Race presents plenty of opportunity for mid-air collisions, head-on crashes and awesome drifts.

Welcome To LS - Created by Assassin2071

Assassin2071, a member of both the Creators Core Club and the GTA Content Creators Crews gets a first Verified nod with this high speed super car race at Los Santos Airport. Wide sweeping turns around the terminal approach roads allow you to keep pedal to the metal for much of the course. That is, until you meet one of the two tricky hairpin turns. Brake hard to get through these cleanly and the checkered flag will be yours for the taking. Watch out also for tight spots between the pillars - the slightest jostle from a competitor can send you to the back of the pack.

Stream Racer provides for a rip roaring tour through the countryside.

Stream Racer - Created by Refuso

Creator Refuso has picked out two quiet, bucolic streams in the Vinewood Hills unsullied by the dirty denizens of nearby Los Santos and decided to careen down them in noisy Sanchez dirtbikes. The result is a thrilling white-knuckle ride that requires wrestling your ride like a bucking mule through the overgrown bushes and tricky terrain. Lobby hosts should be sure to leave traffic turned on for an extra challenge on the on-road section that transitions between the streams.

Chickin' Drifting - Created by STOFFER222

2 Mile Lap Divided set the standard for Races that double back across the length of an entire bridge. STOFFER22 has taken that concept in a new direction via careful placement of chicken sheds along the bridge over Lago Zancudo. The layout beckons players to practice their bob and weave all the way along the bridge and back. A smooth satisfying curve can quickly be brought to an end if you spin out. Not to worry if you fall behind, there's plenty of options to exact retribution by cynically smashing into the leaders.

Protect the fort by all means in Strong Hold.

Strong Hold - Created by 420RayRay1983

This is a classic two team 'stronghold' map, with a fortified structure in the center and team start points on either side. The team to hold the fort has a defensive advantage but powerful weapons litter the grounds to help attackers flush them out. When not creating kick ass Deatmatches, 420RayRay1983 is the leader of the 92-strong GTA Marinez, who are a team looking to become an army. Enlist now.

Bad - San Andreas - Created by eMonstar420

eMonstar420 of the Ganja Outlaws, who are shortly to be featured on the official Rockstar Games Twitch Channel Crew Battle series, has created a tight and technical Race through the car parks of downtown Los Santos. An elusive and difficult course that will throw you off guard just when you think you've got it nailed. We recommend playing it through with the Albany Roosevelt, released with The Valentine's Day Massacre Update in February. It is the perfect vehicle to throw around the tight corners and into the short straightaways.

The cheekily titled Ew, You Stepped In Doody demands you be on top of your sh*t.

Ew, You Stepped In Dooody - Created by IckyDoodyPoopoo

Scatalogically minded Social Club member IckyDoodyPoopoo has put together this well-constructed land race using the on and off ramps of a couple of Freeways in downtown Los Santos. A highly technical course that will test your ability to brake late, drift smoothly and accelerate out of each turn. As you check out your opponents in the rear view mirror, don't forget to watch out for that doody.

The Academic - Created by Fachuro

On Twitter, Fachuro identifies as "a GTA Race creator". With 63 Races created across both platforms, as well as a Rockstar Verified achievement, who can argue? The Academic is a lap Race for Coupes through the faux-Spanish architecture in Rockford Hills. With little room to overtake, be sure to maximize the speed boost from the starting grid, and line up a slipstream on the wide downhill sections to slingshot you around the final corner of the lap. Keep an eye on Fachuro's YouTube page for videos of other great creations

The Watch Tower is the latest Rockstar Verified Capture creation.

Hold: The Watch Tower - Created by Barisico

The Watch Tower is a game of two halves - first, in four teams of 2, all players must attack the central area where the Capture bags are protected by heavily armed militia in strategic positions. Working with the opposition teams may be the only way to breach the defenses. Then, once the militia have been defeated and all the bags are in play, the game becomes all-out-war. Base defense will be key to prevent your hard-won bags being recaptured by the opposition.

The Los Santos Riots - Created by TIdoubleGGRR

A hugely enjoyable Deathmatch in the residential alleys of Strawberry. Creator (and part-time Twitter philosopher) TIdoubleGGRR has placed emergency vehicles and burnt out buses throughout the landscape. The rallying cry is loud and clear: "Wake up, grab a fistful of steel to raise hell on the streets of South Central Los Santos and take the power back!"

We're always looking for new player-created Jobs to add to the Rockstar Verified program and the best way to get noticed is to have a solid Race, Deathmatch or Capture that's been thoroughly tested by the community and refined into the most fun and fair experience it can be.

GTA Online Rockstar Verified Jobs Update: 10 New Additions by Power Users & Collaborative Crews

Posted on March 14 2014, 10:08am | Author: R* M | Filed Under: Social Club, Games

When we find a really great GTA Online user-created Job that we feel deserves recognition as one of the Rockstar Verified selections, we often dig through that Creator's other offerings to see if there is something else waiting to be unearthed. This latest round of Rockstar Verified picks features a pair of power users who have each received two commendations, along with a couple of Crewmates that have mastered the art of Race Creation. Read on for details and links to these and the rest of the new additions to the Rockstar Verified collection.

Please note that due to restraints on the total number of Rockstar Verified Jobs that can be made available at any one time in the game, we've also retired the first set of Races and Deathmatches originally verified back in December from showing up automatically in Freemode (but you can always still access them from the Social Club Jobs page and choose to add them to your game). Going forward, as we continue to bestow Rockstar Verified status on more Jobs, we will be cycling out some of the earlier ones along with those updates. Without further ado, here are the latest ten including a wealth of highly-recommended Races and a pair of exceptional Deathmatches.

Leader of tight-knit The Only Ones Gang, Poklaan already has 19 different Creations under the belt. We selected these two that are a fine showcase of Creator skills. "Around the Mirror" is a clean and quick Race for up to 16 players around the scenic area of Mirror Park. The long straights make it a great choice for the new blazing fast rides like the Grotti Turismo R and the Dinka Jester from The Business Update. Poklaan's second Rockstar Verified Race entitled "Windy Hills" takes inspiration from the popular Rockstar Created Race "Power Trip". It's a 16 player motorbike Race through the rotary blades of the RON Alternates Wind Farm in Blaine County. This lap Race features long straights combined with several perilous cliff-side hairpin bends that require expert control and perfect timing.

In "Transformer Station", teams battle for control of the entire Los Santos power supply in the far northeast of the city. Pizza690 has a talent for Deathmatch creation and here has perfected the spread of props to provide cover where there aren’t transformers to hide behind. With just two armor pick-ups and a handful of firearms, your choice of starting weapons will be key to victory here. Meanwhile across the city, the gravestones of the titular "Hill Valley Cemetery" provide cover for teams looking to wake the dead, or add to their numbers. Here the plethora of health packs, weapons and vehicles available (Romero Hearse included), complement the availability of plenty of natural cover.

As announced on his Twitter account and Social Club profile, bongongta69 is now "R* Verified baby". This course turns the Sandy Shores airfield into a challenging track with tight turns, great views and bumpy off road sections that could easily throw you off course. Be sure to slow down for the tire wall chicane or risk being thrown head first into a patch of prickly pear. You can check out a video by bongongta69 previewing his Race here.

Another great track built specifically for dirt bikes featuring on and off-road sections. "Farm Fresh" was picked out for R* Verification due to the diverse terrain explored in a map that navigates tight, difficult sections in and around Martin Madrazo’s ranch at La Fuente Blanca, up to the Redwood Lights race track and back down to an on-road section in the Vinewood Hills. Creator Ma1evo1entCheese has honed the art of a good clean Race as a member of the Red Rum Racing Crew, a highly organized collective with their own forum for Crew meets and intra-Crew challenges.

One of Red Rum Racing's Commissioners also earns a Verification nod this round with the aptly named "Coupe D'état". As we mentioned in our recent article outlining tips for the Race Creator, vehicle selection should always be carefully considered according to the layout and terrain of your course. LuapYllier has followed this advice perfectly, selecting an underused vehicle class that is perfect for the tricky turns and hill sections. Keep an eye out for crossovers where you can collide with opponents as well as a shortcut across the abandoned railway line.

"Power Hour" is an exciting high speed Race in an area rarely used: the Palmer-Taylor Power Station on the east coast of San Andreas. With each lap featuring a double loop, there's plenty of potential for some electrifying collisions - Race leaders may find themselves quickly targeted by those bitter at having fallen behind.

Refuel - Created by Demon Low-Rider
Demon Low-Rider advises "total concentration" in this endurance Race from Grapeseed, round the Alamo Sea, through Sandy Shores and down the Senora Freeway into the city before finishing up at Mirror Park. With sections on asphalt and dirt, as well as tight turns and long straights, this diverse track will challenge all of your driving ability - particularly if you have the full complement of 15 opponents battling to throw you off course. A win on this course should serve as affirmation of your skill as a pro GTA Online racer.

Confrontations in the city can often result in madcap dashes across town to the local health care provider for "repairs". This short point-to-point (1.33 mi) lets you practice for that very situation as you race from Burton to Los Santos County General. Be sure to keep traffic turned on for the authentic emergency experience.

As ever, in addition to occasionally changing Job names due to taste, copyright or other reasons - we also from time to time will make other small edits to players' Jobs before making them Rockstar Verified. This includes, but is not limited to modifying spawn points, improving checkpoints or increasing/decreasing the amount of weapon picks ups for a particular Job. Once Jobs are Rockstar Verified, they become available for play across both platforms, so whether you're on Xbox 360 or PS3, you'll have all these newly Verified creations available in your next Freemode session.

GTA Online Rockstar Verified Jobs Update: 10 New Additions Today

Posted on February 26 2014, 2:48pm | Author: R* M | Filed Under: Social Club, Games

Today, we’ve got 10 more user-created Jobs officially approved and easily available across both platforms as the fourth installment in our series of Rockstar Verified Jobs. If your Job was not featured today, check out our recent tips and tricks articles which may help you refine your creations and ensure they are as intuitive and fun to play as possible. Also keep an eye out on the Rockstar Newswire for more news about the upcoming expansion to the Creator tool. Here’s a preview of the new Jobs with some detail on how they earned the Rockstar Verified stamp of approval.

LSC Great Eight - Created by DrAtomic1
While it may look like a simple figure 8 track at first glance, the changes in elevation and tighter hairpins require a steady hand and intense concentration. Running around different levels of the Olympic Freeway this course will challenge all aspects of your driving. A strong octo-theme runs through this race: as DrAtomic1 points out in the description, the track itself is 0.8 miles long, and the maximum number of players is, you guessed it, 8.

Dirt Track DerbyCreated by N8thok
While there are hundreds of Jobs arranged around the horse racing track in the Palomino Highlands, we picked out N8thok's effort due to the considered placement of obstacles and pickups around the track that change this from a simple lap race to a white knuckle derby. With 16 players jostling for position, the slightest nudge could force you into the back of a burnt out bus, or off the track entirely. Masters of the art of drifting should be able to nail the curve corners and slingshot their vehicles into the straight sections. Final positions in the race will be decided by inches, the smallest mistake could be fatal.

Observe and RaceCreated by The_Gemte
In this one, 3 quick laps of the circuit leading up to the Observatory have been laid out using a variety of barriers to make for a very fluid and natural race. Overtaking skills will be put to the test as the only straight comes in the form of a narrow tunnel section where race leaders can easily defend against drifters. Corners will be your only option to snatch the lead, so aim for the racing line, brake late and hope for the best!

Getting High and Low - created by El_Cactus
Precision is the name of the game in this high octane motorbike race along the narrow dirt paths just above Cassidy Creek. Maintaining control of your ride is absolutely essential as overhanging pine bows could take you out at any moment. Go easy on your first run, the corners come thick and fast and the only way to win is to make the fewest mistakes. Anyone reaching the end without spinning off the path and falling into the creek below at least once should be pretty pleased with themselves.

Breathtaking views of Blaine County. Getting High and Low(left) and Through The Grapeseed (right).

Through The Grapeseed - Created by LoveLikeJazz
As Creator LoveLikeJazz describes it, this is a "lengthy lap race around Grapeseed with lots of long stretches and a few tricky turns. Watch out for those Sandkings, they think they own the road." Also, watch out for the stretch that goes the wrong way up the Senora Freeway, adding an extra element of danger to each lap. Avoid oncoming traffic to gain the advantage over your fellow racers, and keep an eye out for some spectacular crashes.

Sandy Shores Circus - Created by datwista111
Creator datwista111 modestly describes Sandy Shores Circus as a "simple race", belying the difficulty of the 45 degree turns around Sandy Shores town that will send cars criss-crossing each other all over. There are a few extra features of this race that really make it stand out, including crashing through a fence and into a resident’s garden and a final straight that results in a high speed jump straight into the Alamo Sea… just the thing to cool down screaming hot engines.

Senora Desert Hills - Created by: ZardozToast
"Enjoy the best switchbacks in Blaine County with this winding off-road race up and down the hills of the Grand Senora Desert." A long and winding race that was selected for the unique way it allows players to drift down several dirt roads on the hills of the Senora Desert. Expert control and vehicle selection is essential in order to avoid drifting off the edge of a hill and down into the rocky valley below.

Switchbacks through the undulating terrain in Senora Desert Hills

NurburgringCreated by Mr_Grandis
The latest real-world homage to get a verification nod is this impressive take on Germany’s famed Nurburgring. As Mr_grandis describes it is a “very technical and dangerous track with blind corners, bumps and long straight road.” Recreated around Banham Canyon, Tongva Hills, Great Chaparral and Vinewood Hills, we like the way it challenges endurance and driving skill in equal measure.

Battle GTA - Created by KS-GTA
In the swamps outside Fort Zancudo KS-GTA, lone member of The Assassins Monks, has set up a pitched battle for 2 teams featuring power weapons and heavy machinery. The key to the success of this Deathmatch is balance: a cluster of incendiary props in the center field provides adequate cover for an infantry battle while powerful weapon pickups such as RPGs provide a fighting chance against aircraft. This is an excellent map for Crews to put their communication and teamwork skills to the test.

The scene is set. Battle GTA (left) and Paintball! (right)

Paintball!Created by yoduhh62
A flat expanse of sand on Del Perro Beach is transformed into a dynamic and challenging Speedball-style arena. With skillfully placed props like sandbags, construction fences, wrecked vehicles and tires, this Deathmatch forces players to dart between cover and expose themselves to gunfire when dashing for powerful weapon pickups. Stealth and timing are key here, and we recommend using teamwork to create distractions while you outflank and outmaneuver your enemies.

10 New Rockstar Verified Jobs Added to GTA Online

Posted on February 5 2014, 2:16pm | Author: R* M | Filed Under: Social Club, Games

The latest round of Rockstar Verified GTA Online Jobs are now available for everyone to play on PSN and Xbox Live. If you're looking for new competitive and fun Races and Deathmatches to play, you can follow the links below to bookmark these on Social Club for easy access next time you boot up the game. And budding Creators, be sure to test these out to get the feel for what it might take to have your masterpiece become Rockstar Verified in a future update.

Beach Side Race - created by papa_salada
After a quick tour of the Vespucci Canals, motorbikes and ATVs can really open it up along the coastal road from Vespucci Beach North to the Pacific Bluffs in this Race. We think papa_salada has picked the perfect vehicle class for this track, as the two and four wheelers can use their fearsome top speed to get some serious airtime on the canal bridges and that tricky jump along the final straightaway.

Custom Freeway gymkhana - created by SaltedCracka
With eight races already under his belt, SaltedCracka’s experience with the Creator tools are on display here. This short technical race around the docks features neat changes in elevation, a well-placed jump that fits perfectly with the flow of the race and some narrow, tricky turns that require deft use of the brake pedal. SaltedCracka has set the default vehicle as the Sultan - an excellent choice for drifting around the corners. The description for the Job pinpoints the final turn as the opportunity to “take it all and be #1”. Sage advice.

Pickup paradise in From Weazel To Weazel.

From Weazel to Weazel - created by cionyes
This tour of Los Santos and Banham Canyon is a great example of how to place pickups in a GTA Race, and it's clear to see why even prior to Verification the race has been played nearly 2,000 times. Creator cionyes hasn't just randomly peppered the course with pickups, instead choosing to place them in groups just before wide open avenues. This allows players to open the throttle, or open fire on the long straights and really make a play for first position. In the final dash through Banham Canyon opt for rockets instead of speed boosts to thwart the front-runners just in time to take the checkered flag back at Weazel Plaza.

Rush Hour - created by YouStupidFatFuk
Choose your vehicle carefully as tight handling is required to navigate the twists and turns on this long tour of the Los Santos highways. In what feels like a nod to "The Commute", one of the more popular races in GTA Online, the civilians of Los Santos aren't your only worry as up to 15 other drivers battle along the freeways. Expect a lot of paint to be traded along the way.

A plethora of pickups are available around the High Road track, and a pretty stunning view to boot.

High Road - created by Spider-aka-Mr19
A thrilling and chaotic race that goes from Los Santos' town center up into the hills for some alternative agriculture before racing back to Hawick and a rendezvous with your friendly neighborhood "pharmacist". Keep an eye out for some magnificent views of the Vinewood sign as you ride north into the hills.

The Pad of Death - created by DatBread
An anarchic Deathmatch down at the Los Santos docks filled with an arsenal of powerful weapons, explosives and grenades. While there's a healthy dose of chaos, there's also enough cover to afford tactical play; the terrain is littered with trucks and containers to allow for some surprise attacks and melee kills. Top tip: watch out for campers on the highway overpass and be sure to grab a Sniper Rifle or RPG from the jetty to take them down.

Horseback Hell - created by Misterbocs007
Misterbocs007, a representative of the Payne Killers Public Crew, shows his considerable Creator skills with this Team Deathmatch at the Paddocks just off the Senora Freeway. Items and pickups are grouped together close to spawn points and behind cover. These reload points encourage respawning players to immediately re-enter the fray, while players who have survived a firefight can retreat to this cover to restock before the next round. For an extra kick, huge gas tanks litter the map - aim a few volleys from the grenade launcher in their direction for some satisfying multikills.

Two deathmatches in two rural remote locales: Horseback Hell (left) and Lodge Battle (right).

Lodge Battle - created by Su-per-cat
There's certainly a slasher flick feel to the locale for this Deathmatch - an abandoned lodge in a remote forest. We recommend playing this one at night with the rain coming down for the full effect. We've seen a lot of melee-weapon Deathmatches created in small flat enclosed spaces, but fencing around the Bayview Lodge makes for an altogether different proposition. For those who prefer more explosive weaponry, pick up one of the Grenade Launchers from either end of the oval enclosure and launch them indiscriminately towards the center, or grab an Assault Rifle in the middle and clamber on to the steep pitched roof to get a vantage on the battles below.

Woodbury - created by RussianConcussin
RussianConcussin has created a Team Deathmatch with a story all of its own... A small town in the Blaine County Wilderness has been fortified with barriers positioning one team as the conquering aggressor, and the other as the defiant defenders of their fortress. This is a game of territorial control and teamwork, particularly if the lobby leader follows RussianConcussin's recommendation to force players to start with knives and pick up more powerful weapons as they move through the map.

Long Haul 2 - the longest Rockstar Verified or Rockstar Created race in GTA Online.

Long Haul 2 - created by Paradis_420
Get your Cheetah, Entity XF or Adder tuned up for the ultimate Supercar endurance test. There's almost no need to take your foot of the gas for the entire 12 minutes of this Race which is now the longest Rockstar Created or Rockstar Verified Job in GTA Online. The key to winning lies in the ability to maintain concentration, and to negotiate the traffic while still flying at top speed. Keep an eye on the minimap though, as your opponents will come hurtling past just as you've settled into your comfort zone.
