NEW WEAPON: THE IA2 ASSAULT RIFLE (WITH ATTACHMENTS)

The IA2 is the latest addition to the Assault Rifle class and provides a serious upgrade to your MD-97L and FAL equipped Loadouts. Durable enough to be used as a baseball bat, and powerful enough to chew through opponents' body armor, the IA2 is Brazil's go-to service rifle, providing their military, police and special force divisions with the latest in high-power weapon technology.

NEW WEAPON: THE M24 SNIPER RIFLE (WITH ATTACHMENTS)

NEW FACTION: FILHOS DE OGUM

The eighth customizable multiplayer faction and fourth gang to emerge from São Paulo’s dangerous favelas, the Filhos De Ogum will certainly be easy to recognize - with  leg and facial tattoos, extremely unique accessories, and ragged mismatching footwear that looks like it came from a dumpster, the brawlers at the bottom of the Favela’s food chain will definitely make you want to unlock each and every available option.

Coming to all three platforms next week, the Hostage Negotiation Pack for Max Payne 3 Multiplayer is our biggest pack yet. In addition to the new Filhos De Ogum avatar faction, Explosive Burst and selection of new weapons and Items, the Hostage Negotiation Pack features four new maps that are all playable across Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Payne Killer multiplayer modes. Today, we've got detailed overhead perspectives of all four locations to share, each one viewable in HD by clicking the images below - and featuring a collection of screenshots to highlight key areas of the map as well as tips for mastering these locations.

FAVELA HEIGHTS (DEATHMATCH + TEAM DEATHMATCH + PAYNE KILLER)
Nearly twice as large as Nova Esperança, the Favela Heights DLC map drops you into a setting packed with precarious, multi-leveled habitations, deadly thoroughfares, and strategically placed water towers to rank up those Assault and Sniper Rifle Loadouts. Scale rooftops to traverse the map via raised platforms that provide optimal sight lines of enemies sprinting the streets below and take advantage of the decrepit, yet strategic, canal to covertly find your way towards your next kill.

ESTÁDIO DO GALATIANS (DEATHMATCH + TEAM DEATHMATCH + PAYNE KILLER)
It’s game day at the Galatians’ stadium. The action within the locker rooms, infirmaries, and luxury boxes is going to move quickly, so plan on equipping handy automatics. With an abundance of tight corners, and seemingly happy camping grounds, this DLC map is going to force you to pick up the pace and sprint through its deadly hallways in order to get that top spot on the leaderboard.

CLUB MODERNO (DEATHMATCH + TEAM DEATHMATCH + PAYNE KILLER)
Scene of Fabiana Branco’s violent kidnapping, the flashing lights and high-energy atmosphere of Club Moderno set the tone for epic firefights. The action will develop quickly on this multiplayer map so be sure to pack your close-quarter shotgun, and Assault Rifle Loadouts to combat those that want to spoil your suit. Keen club going assassins may particularly appreciate the Moderno’s exclusive, and tactical, VIP room and adjoining roof deck.

O PALÁCIO STRIP CLUB (DEATHMATCH + TEAM DEATHMATCH + PAYNE KILLER)
Set in and around this unwelcoming skin joint located right in the heart of the favelas, the frantic pace of the battle that occurs within the close-quarters, and graffiti tagged walls will have you searching for high ground to regroup and recoup. Well suited for your go-to shotgun or dual SMG Loadouts and featuring multiple entrances and exits, the O Palácio Strip Club is one man’s killing field and another man’s deathtrap.

Our latest edition for the early fall season includes some of those along with many others you've heard in Rockstar games new and old as we encourage you to get out there and experience some great live music from just a few of our favorites. Of course, we also encourage you to do chime in in comments with any other appearances you may know of, requests for other soundtrack artists you'd like to see in future roundups, or with your own experiences from perhaps having personally attended a summer show.
