My thoughts exactly (about reissuing San Andreas in the GTA IV engine). Sure it will take up some resources but you already have the storyline, the score, the dialogue and the cut scenes. What's left is updating the world with more high res. texture's (but apart from iconic buildings I’d say there's a lot you could borrow from GTA IV) and updating the main characters (again you could borrow the population from GTA IV) Add a bit of multiplayer (the fact that there's an entire pc community that took this matter into its own hands should be a telltale sign here) re-release as DLC and presto: The hunger for GTA V is satisfied for the moment...
And why not do the same for Red Dead Revolver, updating it with Redemption content?
In this case you already recreated the main characters so why not go the extra mile?
Why not run a pole on this subject on the R* site to get a feel for the viability of these ventures?

I agree with oscar187, San Andreas is the best GTA thus far why not redo it with GTA IV graphics? it wont cost a hell of alot and im sure a hell of alot of people will buy it or revisit San Andreas in a future GTA it could be set in this time and it could change a little bit. :) come on R* it would bring in alot of money. :)

You know I a PS3 because of GTA 4 because I love GTA games but You REALLY NEED TO MAKE A NEW ONE before my PS3 get a Yellow Light Of DEATH.

I don't think the next GTA will be called GTA V. They'll save that name for the next generation, the Playstation 4 and the third Xbox, five or six years away. There will be more GTA before then, but it will build on the current technology the way Red Dead Redemption did.

how do you know they were R* north guys? i heard that developers stay at a serton place so they get the vibe of it. so they could give the player the same feeling when theyr playing the game.

If you actually looked at the source of the page of http://www.gta-five.com/, you'd noticed all the assets are loading from http://www.gtawh.com/

I highly doubt Rockstar Games would be pulling assets for their next major title from a bunch of amateurs. Just my two cents

For my part I always liked Sprunk and its ad graphs.
