We've just updated the Frontier Collection of Red Dead Redemption limited-edition items at the Rockstar Warehouse with the Red Dead Redemption Original Soundtrack CD.

Previously (and still currently) available only as a download through digital outlets like iTunes, Amazon, and eMusic, you can now hold the collectible Red Dead Redemption Original Soundtrack CD release in your hand with this 4-panel digipak offering, complete with detailed liner notes and Red Dead Redemption artwork.  The CD is priced at $9.99, same as the digital version (plus shipping and handling of course).

Composed by critically-acclaimed musicians Bill Elm and Woody Jackson and produced by David Holmes, the Red Dead Redemption Original Soundtrack allows you to bring the sounds of the old west with you as you hit the open roads, right back to the comforts of your living room.  Get yours now while supplies last at www.rockstargames.com/warehouse.

Also stay tuned for the very limited red-vinyl LP release of the soundtrack - coming in September.

It's good to hear it's coming out on vinyl. any news? september has almost been and gone. i too was a little annoyed to find a download code in the limited edition version of the game as i thought the extra money spent on it was enough to justify a physical copy of the soundtrack. oh well. vinyl will be nice as long as the postage to the UK isn't so high it doens't justify that. cheers.

Man some people on here need to learn how to correctly use constructive criticism. And read all the details about certain quests or abilities. I'm sorry you guys didn't get to use DLC with the limited edition, but did you expect to use unbalanced items in MP? Also did you pay that much more for it? The US didn't get a limited edition. Give R* a break! It takes balls to put out a game like this, and it wasn't even expected to do as well as it did! You all did get the soundtrack, and I'm sure you could have looked into it if you wanted an actual CD.

@WolfRogers Thanks - more info on the vinyl soon, no announced plans for a discount on the physical release and as for the soundtrack for The Lost and Damned, see here for the EP Special Edition on Amazon:

@shark.sakal As of now, there are no current plans to bring Red Dead Redemption to the PC platform. If that should change, we will let you know.

Any plans to release the soundtrack on RockBand?

Few Quick Questions:

1) The Limited Red Vinyl, is it Heavy Vinyl (180grams+)?

2) Will those of us who purchased the Limited Edition of the game (which included the soundtrack in Digital form) get a slight discount on the Physical Release?

3) What the hell happened to The Lost and Damned soundtrack CD? That's been coming soon for over a year now!

R* if this game will come out for PC????!!
Jake1476August 24, 2010 at 5:12pm
@Pelethare, I ment with guns, not knives. Wouldn't it be fun with guns though?
@R* I want to say that the reason I was disapointed is because the rest of the game was AMAZING but that part fell short (In my opinion.)

@no_blabla Sure - find the white mustang in the Mesa del Sol area (northeast of Casa Madrugada), lasso and mount the horse. As for cougars, check in the hills around Fort Mercer...but watch your back.

@deadlyassassin50 You can order the soundtrack from the Rockstar Warehouse: http://www.rockstargames.com/warehouse/

@FRANKMAN1 We'll have that info soon, stay tuned.

Well thank you rockstar for selling us a piece of paper with the name of collectors edition on it, im so disapointed about this, you made us pay more money for nothing, i had hope the sountrack was in a cd at least, but not, a download code, and then what, a few months after reales we can pay again to get the real cd, THANK YOU ROCKSTAR!
