Play Red Dead Redemption Multiplayer All this Weekend and Get Double XP

Update: The Red Dead Redemption Multiplayer Double XP Weekend has officially begun and will be in effect until Sunday night.

In honor of this week's release of the Legends & Killers Pack, starting tomorrow, Friday, August 13th at 1PM Eastern and ending at Midnight Eastern this Sunday night August 15th, play Red Dead Redemption online and earn double the multiplayer experience points to level up your character.

Whether you're adventuring the open expanses of Red Dead Redemption's revolutionary Free Roam, teaming up with friends to tackle one of the six unique Co-Operative Missions in the Outlaws to the End Co-Op Mission Pack, or going head-to-head with other players in one of the game's Competitive Modes - including the Legends & Killers Pack's nine new multiplayer maps - all online multiplayer activity this weekend will earn you twice the experience points.

So if you've been lusting over the Buffalo Rifle or yearning to have the Super Bull as your trusted mount, jump into the multiplayer world of Red Dead Redemption this weekend, as gaining that precious XP is what unlocks new weapons, new playable characters, and better mounts.

          R* could you tell me how long it will take for me to get from level 22 legend 3 to the max level iv gotten high up sinse i lasted commented about the double xp now at the moment i think im doing well without it

            Yeah I was playing dbl xp all weekend. I went legendary once, but at exactly 3:00 a.m. It ended and I was at lvl 48. I was so pissed!

              R* if we play with u on the 9th of september on PSN will u observe us dat are 1 of u are than any1 else and will u choose who 2 join with R*. hope you will make a sequel of red dead redemption but choose a diffrent character other than Jack Marston u play after the single player campaign and also a dead eye but diffrent and better. 5* 4 red dead redemption, also i want the old max payne look.

                Bravo on this game and previous games. put up another double EXP weekend soon a lot of people could use it, im a level 41. Long live the hail of Rockstar, the success of Red Dead Redemption and I'm sure many future games from Rockstar will be just as successful. can't wait for the liars and cheats pack

                        R* when are you gonna make competition to win anything e.g The dlc, games or stuff like that. because i need the dlc because i ran out of credit, and put up the double XP again would you i need to rank up to legend.

                              rockstar are you guys going to be doing the double xp again because i was on holiday during the time of it and missed it im on level 34 legend 2 and im finding it harder and harder to build my level or release a free dlc as like what was mentioned in the question above to give players double xp for a week or so
                              i hope you guys take this into consideration thank you

                                  I know this is off topic R* but im still having connection issues. I still get kicked from free roams every once and awhile but not as much as before. I am having major connection issues with gang matches, free for all,and co-op missions, It takes me literally a half hour of being removed from session due to connection issues with other players before i find one i can get in ( i cant be in a posse and change sessions because i always get booted) i am taking suggestions on how to fix this issue.
