Updated: Scheduled Maintenance this Wed Late Night / Thurs Morn Affecting Social Club and Some Online Multiplayer Services

Just a heads up that there will be some scheduled server maintenance starting this coming Thursday morning August 26th (ie - tomorrow, Wednesday late night) at 1:00 AM Eastern.  This maintenance will unfortunately require some downtime for Social Club services both on the web and in-game, as well as a few other online services for the games as listed below.  We expect this maintenance period to last in the range of 6-12 hours worst case, so expect services to resume as normal no later than 1:00 PM Eastern time on Thursday afternoon.

Our apologies especially to all our late night and early morning multiplayers who may be inconvenienced for a bit.  Please expect the Social Club website, Social Club accounts, and multiplayer matchmaking services for many of our games to be unavailable during this time.

Note that all single-player game modes will remain unaffected during the maintenance period.

im having trouble playing MCLA CE online and not online. whenever i try to cruise it says having troble connecting to server check connections but every other game i play online with no probs. it blends the online crowd in with the regular game and i can cruise until a mission pops up and then it freezes me out. can anyone help? thx

When I want to join "Rate my Ride" in Mid---ht Club LA it tells me: "The Mid---ht Club La Server is temorary unavailable, Please try again later"
Are you still working on it?
Sometimes I can join in and upload my car, but when I want to rate other cars the upstanding war--- comes and I have to go back to singleplayer.

My GTA4 money is "stuck" since thursday....some guys got the money glitch, gaining the double after switching off then on the console after a multiplayer session. I just play Noose like a zombie over and over again and istead of gain it I lose money. Cool.

It's not an issue about the the Tomahawk. There are some ppl begging R* for indians and canoes which is crazy because they don't fit in the RDR timeline. In fact, I like the Tomahawk.

How can you possibly think that the games events take place in 1700? The in-game newspaper, the in-game grave of *SPOILERS*John Marston*SPOILERS* show a different time! Just look at the Red Dead Wiki for the timeline and see for yourself. All you do is react as a crazy idiot.

RDR is in 1911-1916 so, Indians with bows are not possible.

But this stupid Indian dlc beggings are off-topic anyway so>

hey rockstar, are you still busy with the leaderboards or are you done?
I still don't see any change while I have been following since the first minute the maintenence went up.
All the people who I've spoken about this maintenence have noticed no changes!
the only difference I've seen is far more quiet freeroams, no fake 50's, but I thought it would only be untill 1 p.m. thursday, and it's 12 o clock at ---ht eastern time and still no changes and no updates.
I really love your games, especialy red dead redemption, best game I've ever played in my life! but keep your fans updated, we have no clue what you are doing and I'm searching every channel you keep updating but no info.
please rockstar you guys are the best with listening to fans, keep us updated.

It would have been nice for rockstar to give a heads up to its ps3 members that it might be a good idea to back up their save data to an external hard drive. Today, out of the blue, my screen went black and kicked me out of the game. When I loaded the game again and went to multiplayer, it told me that no mp file existed. I was back at rank ONE. Prior to this corruption, I was FOURTH level of legend, FIVE away from the final badge and my zebra. Hours and hours of gameplay down the drain, along with all of my golden guns, titles, everything. I did notice my trophies and stats are intact. I called the rstar tech line and the guy basically told me too bad. This was really an epic fail on rockstars behalf. I wish they could do something to help out legit players that just get screwed out of the blue. The guy on the phone said this is totally random and has happened to multiple players. So guys, BACK UP YOUR GAMES!!!
