Live Performance of "Far Away" by Jose Gonzalez from the Red Dead Redemption Soundtrack

Posted July 22, 2010 at 11:52am | Author: R* F | Filed Under: Games, Music

Jose Gonzalez recently took time out of his busy summer tour schedule to swing by the Rockstar offices in New York and perform this intimate, acoustic rendition of “Far Away”, his contribution to the Red Dead Redemption Soundtrack. Most of you will remember this song from when John Marston first reaches Mexico, riding horseback along a dusty trail between cascading red cliffs and the San Luis River; definitely one of Red Dead’s most visually and sonically memorable moments.

@Cargando666 thats a bit extreme don't you think? Although RDR IS INCREDIBLE.

Hey Rockstars. When this song came on after I crossed the border I just had to stop and look at the scenery and it was then I realised what a fantastic game you guys had developed. I am a great fan of all the GTA series, even back from the old PS2 days but this game takes the cake. I’m addicted to RDR, I am sleep deprived from all the late ---hts I have stayed up trying to get through it but I want more. I’m at work now but I can not concentrate on what I’m doing. I think I might go outside the office and see what birds I can take down for their feathers.
