ok this is for rockstar and all who oversee the online game play,i have been playing online now for 2 years and i got red dead when it came out and when i started to play online every one was nice and friendly,and then came the clans and at first it was just a bunch of friends who play together all the time and then someone got the idea to start an online gang like the street gangs we are so used to,and to me anybody who has to have a bunch of people to back them up is just a p***y,but as time went on more and more clans have sprung up and with them came the computer nerds that can hack and modd to make themselves invincible or invisible to the other players and for a while their there were what they call glitches that alot of people have manipulated to enhance their gameplay,well some moron kid decides to post them on the youtube and they get patched and rockstar has been doing a good job at patching them up but now they are using iso modds and j tags to freeze peoples xboxes and rockstar!! you guys are effin clueless as to what makes a customer happy,now grant it,you guys do make a helluva game i have to give you that but as for customer service and how to give the consumer what they pay for ,you have no idea!! im gonna give you a few names of people who are modded and who use glitches on red dead redemption for the xbox 360 and when you get this information it will be your choice as to what you do with it,so im gonna wait to see what happens because im almost ready to stop purchasing your games and accessing the online game play because for the past two years i have filed complaints and submitted avoid player reviews against gamers such as these and every time i get on their they are freezing peoples consoles talking trash and laughing because theirs nothing i can do about it,wel here they are rockstar....do the right thing....GLITCHED MATRIX aka metal wiener....POPPYAPOCALYPSE....JOHNNY BRAVO.... well their they are and these guys are the three main ones but as you should know their are many more that have manipulated the glitches to be invisible and invincible and it's not fair to us to have to put up with cheating little p***ys hiding behind a modd.

Cant even access legit downloaded content such as undead nightmares in single player now because of this tempory ban....thats bulls**t...........strip me back to level one PLEASE I really dont care but I dont see how you can stop me accessing content that is mine.

What a load of bollox this ban is.....theres more than one type of modder, if like me you put genuine time in and 100% the game in singleplayer, I couldnt then commit to doing it all again online so i modded my profile to play with friends and just cos it was a laugh at the time....Ive never used it to ruin other peoples games and now im forced to pllay offline indefinately ......

The number of cheaters is growing faster then game developers can ban them. Hopefully future game releases will have a way to counter the cheaters methods. These are some of the names that appear on several sites.

A few bad apples? LOL, It has gotten to where lately every session I go into someone is moded or using cheat codes. BTW, I dont know who the Einstein is who started calling cheat codes "glitches" but they are cheat codes not a glitch. A glitch just happens like the time I turned over a wagon and got stuck under ground. A cheat code is a series of buttons pushed in an order to make a player invincible or invisible. They are not glitches they are cheats. This is the most awesome game ever and when it first came out people for the most part were playing well together however, since the cost of the game has gone down the quality of the game has not changed but the quality of the players has gone to hell. I'm sick of cheating and modding scumbags tainting my game experience. I'd like to see more actions taken to get rid of the riffraff that is incapable of playing a fair game. Whats strange is that most of these idiots I talk to who cheat see nothing wrong with cheating and think its ok that they can kill an honest player while the cheater cant be killed. I hate the cheaters and modders and I do feel they should all be banned from the free roam.

Rio Bravo Lynch Mob is growing look for our memebers online!! and I dont think getting your friends to endure 100 kill shots to the head for a Golden weapon is cheating it gives you nothingspecial just the color of your gun our gang is going to have all golden guns after our campaign is over

One thing I hate the modders/ cheats that must be because no one should be able to take 3 shots to the head from a Buffalo Rifle and keep coming at you that has to be a cheat and this "warp drive " horses that move waay too fast for a normal game also dont take it personal it is a game you get shot so what then figure how to get em back just sit there yelling into your wireless Bluetooth will just make me laugh a hunt u down again

Geckstar Very Fine point and dead on with reason. I am positve that sales for games produced by Rockstar will not be less than expected if the decision to discontinue cheats available or hacker watch updates to catch loser gamers from being immature and even purchasing a cheating enabling device, product, or mod for gaming and annoying real players from enjoying or competing in games as such. I would be ecstatic if they even went to the lengths of creating a way to choose servers that you want to connect to through games on Xbox Live and PSN and even Wii online game networks. Think PC games and the way Counter Strike or Day of Defeat is set up it really makes the enjoyment of being able to connect to those that you trust in being geniune in there play and skill. Hackers really need to get some justice served for killing the gaming experience for gamers. Thanks Rockstar for this addition

Love the game Rockstar, but some more features would be nice. It would be awesome if you could collect scalps of people you kill. Then on the social club it could show the gamer tags of all the scalps you've collected. Or if we could hold someone from another posse ransom, and build a whole mini game around that. Just some food for thought. Thx again for the game.

Does headshot boosting on a private match with a couple of mates to get eachother golden guns count as *cheating* and therefor me being banned? i hope not because i have never boosted for my level and i have never modded or used that save game thing in my red dead career, pls respond, thanks :)

I made a horrible rockstar social club account just to say if you start banning people for modding then nobody is going to buy this game your whole company is about cheating and if they here about a rockstar game that doesnt have cheats your sales are goin down all i know is that im not playin rdr anymore so is all the modders on my friends list which is all 100 of them

I saw someone the other day bragging how they knew everything about the the game and showed others a glitch to fly and walk through walls. I made it to level 50 despite being a very average shot and have been wasted by other players more times than I can count, but at least I died with honor and not like some scumbag hacker.

Cheating/Moding is NOT cool. It shows you to be a lazy idiot who can't even put in some serious gaming time. And those who whinge on here about this or that is boring - well then, don't play the game. Why cheat and then ruin the game experience for others? Do you honestly think people will look at you in awe because your level 50/5 but then you can't shoot for sh1t? Your still the rubbish crap player you always were and that is why you needed to cheat/mod because it's the only way you'll advance in the game..... BUT, we all have the power of choice and if that is what you want to do then fine but as it states in the statement above from Rockstar "......we're aware a few rotten apples persist in the online world" and it is only a FEW rotten apples.

Part of the EULA with Rockstar and Red Dead redemption is "You agre NOT to: h.Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, prepare derivative works based on or otherwise modify the Software, in whole or in part; - they hold the license to the game so if you break the license agreement they have every good right to kick you out of the Red Dead online world. And I hope they do - I hope it is not just talk.

As for spawn campers well they do it because it's the only way they can get an easy-ish kill. But the joy comes when that same camper gets his/her ass kicked after killing me once or twice - and then continues to get his/her ass kicked. Don't come after me if your not prepared for me to come after you!

It is hard work and you have to put the hours in and who says you need to only do the hideouts all the time? There are other types of games - shootouts, bag grabs etc. and they all give you XP so why sit in Free roam if it's so "boring"? Co-op missions? There is a lot of fun to be had in this game if you let your self and yes, it does frustrate me at times how slowly my XP creeps up but it pays off as I 4 out of 5 kills are headshots with the bolt-action and that comes from playing over and over again.

The new DLC should hopefully liven things up for those who are bored of the game. But tell me this, why keep on playing if it is so boring? Because at the end of the day it is an awesome game that calls you back for more!!

I think that new respawning update is BS, All your doing is protecting the NEWBS that are the ones that are Bullying other players, You know how many times a lower leveled player killed me just because i have a Super bull and better weapons that ive earned, But when i go and get Payback i'm the one thats being punished. Do you guys actually play the game under diffrent names other then your know rockstar and reddev ones. Go in with your level 50 and see how many times a lower level kills you first and see if you dont get pissed when your getting killed when your leveling up in a Gang hideout or just exploring the area on your mount. Alll your doing is protecting the INSTIGATOR

O.K. Rockstar i am officially tierd of your BS (reseting me back to lvl1) and i have this to say, i saw in an article that you said you would reset people to before they started cheating (ETC.) i went to 50 the first time LEGIT, and if you do not have the decency to put me back to AT LEAST the time i was LEGIT, then go to... yeah if i said it this may be called abusive... fix it Rockstar... just please fix this

ROCKSTAR I NEED DESPREATE HELP, PLEASE, i was playing single player and having fun catching a bounty and when i went to multiplayer, i lost my third legend(earned Legit) and i lost ALL my gold guns and now im at level 1, Rockstar i know your busy but PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM thank you

OK lemme get one thing straight Rockstar, and i hope your listening, I RANKED UP TO 50 THE FIRST TIME LEGIT... then alotta people used the hack thing, and multiplayer was getting REALLY Boring so i used the edited save (WHICH IS NOT CHEATING it is being smart) i was at Legend 3 lvl27, i wen t to multiplayer this morning and, im ALL THE WAY BACK TO LEVEL 1, ROCKSTAR, YOU BETTER GIVE ME MY LEGEND 3 LVL 27 BACK ASAP this is happening to alot of ppl and if you dont fix this asap A ALOTTA PPL WILL NOT BUY YOUR NEXT GAME, i know I WONT
