As for the ---htmare DLC pack itself; I am personally interested to see what R* has in-store, as I like supernatural elements, but I agree, this game is already awesome. I don't want to see it get too carried away and have the whole atmosphere broken and made into L4D, as you said.
I don't like western type things but R* did a really awesome job with this game,A zombie infested carival would trash the game. My opinoin....

Thank for watching !
red dead feel so dark n not alive during ---ht-time n zombies and a "Carnival" would realy light things up.
musik and alot of light and people drunken , freaks n girls hunting tricks n alot of funny mi---ames.
a awsome place to spend the dark hours in red dead, running around in the dark is not that great in singleplayer, a huuuge Carnival would realy light up the atmosefere.
n please give us a charakter with one eye (cyclop or what they called) n some fat clowns n Dwarfs (small people)

Off Topic: @Undeadflava: The Carnival was my favorite thing in Bully, so I agree completely for one in RDR. A spooky, time-period correct traveling carnival that moves around randomly, complete with Gypsies, fortune tellers, mini-games and the "freaks". (in the most polite sense of the word) If not, hope to see one in a Bully II.
Does rockstar ever want fan suggestions?
