Play the Latest Red Dead Redemption Social Club Challenge: Twin Rocks - and Unlock the Clear Bounty Cheat
(Trouble always seems to find John Marston.)
A brand new Social Club Challenge in Twin Rocks is currently awaiting all PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players the next time you boot up Red Dead Redemption (just press pause and visit the Social Club tab in the pause menu).
A Social Club Challenge adds additional objectives to the traditional Gang Hideout while keeping track of how long it takes you to finish. Participate in the challenge and then visit the Social Club to check out where your time stacks up on our challenge leaderboards. All you need to take full advantage of any Social Club Challenges is a Social Club account which can be created in-game or on the web by going here and registering.
Our previous two challenges (Pike's Basin and Gaptooth Breach) put Social Club members' cowboy skills to the test across a variety of tasks. The new Social Club Challenge at Twin Rocks adds 3 objectives meant to work your trigger finger:
- Shoot the hat off 2 enemies
- Kill 3 enemies with a knife
- Disarm 3 enemies
(A perfectly good piece of headwear is laid to rest with a well-placed pistol round.)
(Stealth is one good option when looking to use your knife.)
(It's always easier to get rid of an outlaw when they don't have a gun pointed at you.)
Twin Rocks has you and your best firearm squaring off against droves of gang members out for blood. The gang has snipers perched on the high-ground just waiting for challengers looking to take back the ranch compound that is under their control.
If you earn at least a silver medal in this challenge, you will unlock the Clear Bounty cheat - useful for when you want to get rid unwanted marshal attention quickly (note that enabling a cheat will disable saving and the ability to earn Achievements/Trophies). Get your Social Club membership, give the challenge your best shot and then check out the Social Club leaderboards for your time. Keep checking in at the Rockstar Newswire as we continue to announce more new Social Club challenges in the near future.

Thanks for reporting these issues to us. With your help, we’ve been able to isolate and resolve a few remaining problems that some of you have been experiencing following the release of the ‘Outlaws to the End’ Co-Op Mission Pack for Red Dead Redemption. We’ve initiated a fix on both consoles that is now live. To be sure you have the latest update, please restart your console, sign into your online account and then boot up Red Dead Redemption. The update will be applied automatically (you will not be prompted to download anything).
Thanks again, and if anyone is still experiencing issues, please let us know through any of the following technical support channels.

Quick question about the social club stats. If we beat the singleplayer and start a new campaign on another save file, is there a way to get the social club stats to display info from the 1st saved game?
Thank you for contacting Rockstar Games technical support. Your question has been received, and you should expect a response from us within the next 72 hours.
That is the message I received from Rockstar Support on Friday, 6/25 at 9:48am. My question was regarding the ongoing multiplayer issues; the endless loading screens, the invisible kills, the sometimes extremely resilient opponents.
The 72 hours has passed, obviously, and no response from Rockstar. So, I am guessing an alternate approach is necessary, not that I am really expecting a response by posting here either.
I really want some kind of acknowledgement from Rockstar. A simple "Yes, we are aware of the issues and we are working on a fix" would be sufficient at this point.
Ignoring the people that spent money on a product that doesn't work does not make sense. Please, Rockstar, tell us when your product will be fixed, or IF you even plan to fix it.
Thank you.
