Posted on June 30 2010, 12:01pm | Author: R* Y | Filed Under: Social Club, Games

Presenting the updated calendar of Rockstar Games Official Social Club Multiplayer Events covering July through September in full - with plenty of rifles, dynamite and ammunition to go around.

In the heat of summer and on into the fall, you can expect lots of explosive, live streaming Red Dead Redemption action, as well as a return to Liberty City with some Episodes events jumping into both The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and Damned's multiplayer modes..

If you've never taken part in one of our official scheduled events, during the times and dates listed below you'll be able to:

  • Play with and against members of the Rockstar Games, including some of the folks who helped create the games themselves
  • Watch the live video stream of the action as it happens, for those of you who prefer to spectate or are too shook to throw down with us
  • Jump in to the live chat as you watch, talk smack with other Social Club members and with us here at Rockstar

It all goes down during each event at the official Social Club Multiplayer Events page at

    @ R*Y @Rockstar @Dev Team @ Whoever wants to read this:

I generally do not post and beg or ask for anything but I just would like to say I want to make a small suggestion and was curious if it was technologically capable at this stage of the game. I just want to speak my mind and say I think it is ridiculous that there is no REAL perk for Rank 5 Legendary Level 50 players.

I feel that there should be an update where if you do not have the gun unlocked you can not keep it after you die, are killed or change sessions.

I would very much love to see this update as I am sure many others would too.

Pretty much to further explain myself If you have not reached the level where you have unlocked let's say THE HIGH POWER PISTOL(Btw which should be removed from the game and is WAY too powerful and makes the game totally one sided and unenjoyable BIG TIME), then you can pick it up after you kill someone with it equipped or get it at the hideout but once you are killed or die you lose it if you haven't unlocked it yet via leveling. Sort of like how you guys have it set up with the Explosive RIfle. I think that the fact that when you die you lose it is a great idea. Once again there has to be SOME perk for level 50s and I feel this would be a great one.

Rockstar I would appreciate if you took this into consideration and everyone else on the forum if you agree please voice your opinion I would love to see this happen.

    Thanks all,

i can beat everybody on a RDR multiplayer event on psn :

Either they've decided to drop PC, or a RDR PC announcement is coming in this time. Remember, a recent RDR post says 'awaiting all PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players'... there are no other players than PS3/360 players, so it might be a little slipup in the review process for the post. :)

Hey R*, just gotta say great job with RDR and all the DLCs that have been following since. I'm more concerned as a PS3 owner that there are rather too few dates scheduled for multiplayer sessions on PSN.... will you be making up for this in future calendar events so that we can get our fix for shootouts?? Thanks a bunch and looking forward to better and more DLCS! Y'all ROCK!!!

            Hey Fatalbraindamage,
I've repaired about 100 Original PS3's. The case is the older (bigger) PS3 has a heating problem which causes the solder around the chips and processors to melt away from the motherboard of the ps3. This is not a good thing, your ps3 will flash a yellow light and then beep and flash red.

The slim version claims to solve this problem and only time will tell. Xbox had the same issues but the xbox customers were looked after with that as they were able to send their broken unit to xbox for a replacement even if their warranty had expired.

Sony did not offer this and will charge you for the replacement.
Better off with the slim, anyone who needs their ps3 repaired can feel free to contact me or google the issue as there are plenty of places that can repair this problem.

Just wondering if PC users and Xbox users are on the same server? Have heard rumours and would like to see if it is actually the case.

@cole-jones Thx, if you pick up a weapon in multiplayer that you don't already start with, you'll automatically lose it the moment you quit online play and turn off your console, level up to obtain new weapons.

@fatalbraindamage Thanks, as of now, there are no current plans to bring Red Dead Redemption to the PC platform. If that should change, we will let you know.
