Red Dead Redemption Xbox LIVE Official Social Club Multiplayer Event (June 18, 4-7 PM Eastern)

Join us tomorrow, June 18th from 4-7PM Eastern as we continue the Social Club Multiplayer Events Series with an afternoon of Red Dead Redemption on Xbox LIVE.

Here's all of the info you'll need to play with Rockstar.
HOW TO FIND US
Start up multiplayer from the main menu. This will place you into a Free Roam lobby. Invite at least one friend and form a posse. Then enter the game modes as we announce them in the chat.
HOW DOES FREE ROAM WORK?
Free Roam is the hub of your online experience. Supporting up to 16 players, Free Roam allows you to explore with your friends and enemies, take out the gangs of outlaws or launch into more structured gameplay using the markers placed around the world. We'll be forming posses and then heading into several game modes during the evening.
To form a posse, press the 'Select' button and use the menu. This menu gives you several gameplay options and access to the list of players in your session.
FORMING A POSSE
To start the game, invite your friends, form a posse and find Rockstar, follow these steps:
1. From the main menu, press 'Start' and then enter 'Xbox Live Multiplayer' by pressing the 'X' (blue) button.
2. Once in a Free Roam lobby, press the 'Back' button to open the in-game multiplayer menu.
3. Press the 'RB' button and then the 'Y' (yellow) button to 'Invite Friends'. Invite at least one friend into your posse using the 'A' (green) button.
4. Once your friends are in the game, press the 'Y' (yellow) button again to return to the 'Players' menu and select them with the 'A' (green) button to 'Propose New Posse' or 'Send Posse Invite'.
5. Once you and your friends are ready to go, start up the game mode we're currently playing. This can be found in the chat as the event rolls along. We will be starting in Gang Shootout.
Remember you must have one friend in your posse to play with Rockstar. And as stated, pay close attention to the chat to know what game mode we're currently playing.
GETTING AN INVITE (6-7PM Eastern Only)
We realize with many players attempting to get in our matches that it may be difficult sometimes to join our games. To remedy this, during the last hour of the event we will be manually accepting friend requests and then inviting players that are active on our site. Follow these guidelines in this order to be invited:
1. Be online, have Red Dead Redemption loaded and be ready to accept the invite quickly as this is on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. You send a friend request to us. Use RedDeadDev4 or RedDeadDev5 between 6-7PM Eastern.
3. You post your Gamertag on the comments between 6-7PM Eastern.
Once we see your Gamertag on the Newswire comments, we will check for your Gamertag in the friend requests on Xbox LIVE. Following these three steps should help you get in on a match in the last hour of the event.

Few things that would make the Red Dead Redemption´s Multiplayer better:
1.Realistic health to the players so they would die as fast as AI enemies in single player.
2."Hometown" to Free Roam which would be the spawn point to ererybody and nobody would be able to kill anybody at that area.
3.Hardcore Free Roam: Realistic health. No aim assists, mini maps or player overhead icons.

hey rockstar.. just wanted to say that ive played RED DEAD REDEMPTION these last days, ive finally bought it... i wanted to say that its one of the bests experiences in my life, like an epic movie, an epic book. Now i discovered the Wld West, the colonization of the west, etc, i just LOVE the game, everything. the landscapes are AWESOME, the atmosphere, etc... awesome graphics.. i love the "GTA style".. damn, i just play GTA and red dead redemption.. i think Rockstar Games is more than a simple game developer, you are true artists. sorry, i dont have words to describe what i feel. Cant wait for next GTA, hope you guys are doing a great job. please dont loose the "gta style" ok ?

Yes, i have the same problem that boyplayer ...impossible to join a game.. And when it works, the missions completely bug ! One enemy to kill, and mission completed .. Or, the trolley not on rails , And not forget our horse who disappears. And many others ... Thxx
