- on November 28 2014, 5:25pmIt seems like everyone cares about san andreas. I think we should focus more on vice city for map dlc or a new version like we did with san andreas. My 2 favorite things about vice city were 1 the mall and 2 i loved vcpr igo on youtube to hear it when I'm not playing it. what if we had lazlo and those guys make new radio tracks for the game once a month.

- on November 3 2014, 4:46pmWhere is the gta san andreas hd for ps3 rockstar always first xbox wtf!!! Rockstar
- on November 3 2014, 6:55pm@AngelOfDeath_10 That is ridiculous, gta 3, vice city and san andreas were all released on ps2 a very long time before they were released on xbox. Don't just change the facts because you're pissed off. I'm in Australia and I can't even get it and I wasn't told a thing.
- on November 1 2014, 8:22pmrock star has failed to amaze me once again. i purchased the new San Andreas, after entering the first mission big smoke the audio fails for the first 3 minutes. i then go to a favorite spot of mine which is the co-op play, come to find out its not even there. why do you fail at the entertainment of what used to be a great way of passing time. you upset me with all the gta 5 shenanigans that still disappoint me, so im choosing to play gta s.a. atleast there i can lift weights, buy fast food, and ride around 3 cities with a bandana over my face with real gta style. your attempts to make a greater grand theft auto has defied its purpose of being better than the last series. now leaving the 360 high and dry with only a trial version of your so called "GREATEST GTA EVER" i am informing you i will no longer be a rockstar grand theft auto game purchaser. you may not care but my interests for your experiences have been forsaken and i wish i could only show you the finger i hold up as to say your "number one" for all your cheap and inexperienced "hard work".
- on November 1 2014, 4:46pmThis was once the best game ever created. Now to get better graphics and feel more immersed in the original rendition of San Andreas, you must give up controllable driving physics and a coherent aiming scheme. Here are three major problems with the "enhanced version" (which appears to be a port of the mobile version as opposed to a serious enhanced remake). First, in the original, there was some form of throttle and brake control, even the PS2 utilized the pressure-sensitive X and square buttons to allow for acceleration without burnouts and braking without uncontrollable wheel lock up. When things are "enhanced", the triggers are made to be the throttle and brake; good sign, but as you will quickly find out, no throttle or brake happens until about half way though the trigger throw, at which point the throttle or brake is turned all the way on, and you plow into the car in front of you, or lock up all four tires and skid uncontrollably to a stop. (throttle and braking must be constantly turned on and off to maintain control which makes for a very choppy driving experience). To make things worse, it would appear that there is a glitch that causes the cars to "bob" constantly when accelerating, until they get into their "highest gear" (which is just an audio loop that happens when the car hits a certain speed) This bobbing appears to be what the cars do when they "shift" in the original game, but in the "enhanced version" the cars do this about twice per second until top gear... very choppy looking, sounds annoying, and takes away from the total driving experience. Lastly, likely also a side effect of being a MOBILE game, the aim scheme is restriced. Originally, you could lock on when first aiming, and then free aim by moving the right stick. Lock on again by simply aiming again. A very good system in such a free and open environment. Now though, players must choose lock on mode, (which only allows free aim if NOTHING is around you) or free aim, (which as the name implies, gets rid of lock on altogether). If a system designed in 2004 could do both, why are we separating them now? All these things make the game feel too choppy and restricted to truly appreciate the enhanced visuals. Don't waste the 4 dollars; play your original copy. PS3 owners be happy you were not trolled by this "kidified" version of the best game of all time.
