If I may share my knowledge on games development, it is easier to develop games for iOS because the device sizes are straightforward and require minor adjustments. For Android devices, the screen sizes vary very much including the hardware, so what seems compatible for an Android device in terms of screen size may be set back by its hardware limitations.

In any case, Rockstar keeping mum on the progress for Android devices and Windows Phones is disappointing. I check this site everyday and I'm greeted with silence for too long. I'm starting to think that WIndows Phones wasn't their intended release and may have been a misaligned announcement.

I'm fine if they are bound by technical limitations but please let us know if there is going to be a long delay. Meanwhile, they can consider giving us Chinatown Wars. That game has been in NDS, PSP, iOS so I'm guessing it is more flexible to be reprogrammed for Windows Phone version. Chinese New Year is coming, so I hope we get Chinatown Wars by then. -Peace-

Does a person Rockstar Games can answer the Windows Phone community on the delay of the release of Windows Phone Grand Theft Auto San Andreas?
Why so late, while the Android version is already available for more than three weeks and the iPhone version for more than 4 weeks?

We continue to listen, but we unfortunately entonds nothing.
A small return on your part would be nice.

@teddybox I'm really tired of waiting for news of the WP version. I look at this page everyday expecting some news about it. Rockstar, we love your games and we want to play them. Please, give us some news.

@MSZika I hope so, achievements would be great! but first they should tell us something about the release, that was originally planned for last year... :/
                                  • MSZikaon January 7 2014, 9:26amReplyFlag
@Grand-Big-Smoke It's a vicious cycle. Developers pay less attention to Windows Phone, because they say that WP has "fewer users" than Android and iOS, and less people buy Windows Phone devices because they say it has "less apps". We know that this isn't true, because we(WP Users) are a huge community.

@MSZika But statistically speaking iOS and android made more sales then the windows phone (not by much) but devs will see these stats and choose to sell their game on the most popular ones

@Gamer17000 iOS and Android makes more sales then the Windows Phone because WP have fewer apps. And it have fewer apps because it makes less sales. As I said, this is a vicious cycle. I'm really sad with Rockstar. They said that the WP version is coming soon a lot of time ago. ' :(
