Manhunt Now Available on PSN

Who's up for a bit of brutal blood sport? As we warned last week - the 2003 cult-classic stealth thriller Manhunt, is now available to download at the PlayStation Store for play on your PS3.

As James Earl Cash, you're a death row inmate who awakens from the lethal injection chamber to discover he's met a fate perhaps worse than death. As the star in a sick kill-or-be-killed reality TV show, your fate is left in the hands of serial creepo Lionel Starkweather. Evade, fend off, and turn the tables on the hordes of killers out for your head.

You can grab Manhunt for $9.99 / €9.99 / £7.99 on PSN, alongside a number of other Rockstar classics listed below.

    Hi guys

    Why isn't Manhunt available to download from PSN in Australia?! It can't be the classification thing, we have R rated games now as you must already know!

    I'm desperate to play it for the first time in over a decade...

      I really think rockstar such do remakes of certain classics such as this one and others like GTA: San Andreas for the PS3 with better graphics and additional missions. These games are still making money for PS2 and now they're released on PSN store so that's double profit if you were to remake some of your best selling games, and released them for PS3 you'll be making triple the profit and still making the fans that would like to see these games remade, happy. Just a suggestion, but really should consider the option and take the time to do it for the fans.. because as any best selling gaming production company would say, "we do for the fans, anything for the fans" :XD

        Any chance of releasing (or re-submitting for classification) Manhunt in Australia now that we (finally) have an R18+ rating? I have a copy on PS2 from before it got taken off shelves but would really like to purchase the classic PS2 version on PS3. Thanks in advance.

          OMG i'll get it as fast as possible, only cause of manhunt i bought a half year ago a ps2! after 1 month i had to throw it cause overheating.felt so pissed off, and now this amasing novelty, thanx rockstar! (a big pity no manhunt 2 for the ps3... samey, but a pity!)

          it would be also so class to play it on android or ios, its time for a 10th anniversary R*. btw. i have the piggsy figure 393 of 500, u think u will produce again a piggsy figure? cause mine is a lil bit damaged :(

              I always wanted to say this to Rockstar themselves! This censorship is a joke! Manhunt , ok you killed people in different methods , but the people you were killing were really horrible people! Clowns , gang members , crazy people! By the time the player plays the game , you want them dead because they were so damn scary lol

                Here is my Review , on the psn store release of Manhunt! It would be awesome , if Rockstar actually watched my review , I would be in shock lol.But seriously , I am a massive fan of this game , I cant express how much love I have for you bringing this masterpiece out on the store! So sorry it will never be a franchise , but sometimes , people cant handle stuff!

                      @KILLER9639 Well it aint designed , to be nice! Its a horror game! It is personally my all time fav Horror game! The soundtrack , score and gore and environments made it amazing! Manhunt 2 even if played uncut , it still didn't have the magic that what made Manhunt 1 the best

                    Just finished this a few moments ago. It still kicks ass and gives you a few creepy moments. What a classic! When I first tried to play this game about ten years ago I thought that it wasn't good and didn't bother to finish it. But on a second try I started to get better and better on stalking enemies and after that it's been all great. This must be the sixth or seventh time I completed it.

                      Manhunt 2 is not worth releasing on the psn network! Till this day none of us will be able to play it uncut! So what is the point releasing it on the network.However Rockstar you could be sly and ask for a rerating because , bbfc no longer have permision to check the game , its pegi now!
