Manhunt Coming to PSN Next Week

Next week, the roster of downloadable Rockstar titles in the PS2 Classics collection at PlayStation Store is set to get bigger - and grislier - with the addition of Rockstar North's dark stealth thriller Manhunt, originally released 10 years ago. Beginning on May 14th Tuesday when the PSN Store does its weekly update (Wednesday for those in Europe), you'll be able to step back into the shoes of James Earl Cash, a Death Row inmate playing that most dangerous game of kill-or-be-killed at the mercy of the maniacal Lionel Starkweather.

Manhunt will be available from PSN for $9.99 / €9.99 / £7.99 and joins Bully and Red Dead Revolver, as well as all PlayStation 2 entries in the Grand Theft Auto and Midnight Club franchises, in the PS2 Classics category of PlayStation Store.

It will also soon be joined by The Warriors - stay tuned, Boppers...

      @teetzmagee We would love to make Manhunt and some of our other titles available to you, but unfortunately there are technical limitations that prevent some classic Rockstar titles from being compatible with Xbox LIVE and the Marketplace.

            What's up guys! I'm from Australia and I'm not seeing manhunt on my PSN. Now that we got R+ rating, We should able to get right? i've been a fan of manhunt for long time, no game has come as brutal as manhunt. Also awesome that you guys are bringing warriors back as well, it was completely unexpected hahaha!

            @R* I do not own a PlayStation 3, nor have i ever but i have owned PS1 and PS2 and Xbox 360, last year my Xbox broke and I haven't bought a replacement so I've been w/out a system for maybe 10 months now and its the worst feeling. But because of GTA V and these classic titles being on the PSN store I will have to buy both PS3 and another 360 really soon! I really appreciate your work and how you listen to your fans. Thank you for giving me great memories and lining me up for a time to play these awesome games.

                        It really hacks me off how xbox gets screwed because of the whole incompatibility issue.

                        is there even a chance that xbox users will get one of the titles in the future such as the warriors. Or anything else...
