The Advertising Council's latest update features 10 more classic radio spots from the world of Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas radio - including the very first commercials added from 2008 leading off with Electrolytes Extreme Sports Drink and everybody's favorite robotic maintenance machine the El Chamuco Roboto.

          Being a GTA forumite for about 10 years now in all, and having joined in the GTA fun with GTA III, I've been an ardent fan ever since. One of the funny shticks from the audio side of GTA is when the tech geeks on air, as I recall, GTA III, mention "I love flamin' lamers", I always think that must be some kind of mantra for other actual forum participants, as they make an extreme habit of flaming in general! hahaha I've been a victim, but whenever I flame someone, it's usually a tongue well in cheek jab at their behavior. GTA audio can be enjoyed with most of the PC versions, if you can get past initial install, with GTA IV, you need a computer supporting Shader Model 3.0 or higher, but then just go into the menu and play audio from the radio. No need to have the graphics super Accelerators to get that far into the game... but one thing I note is different compression routines used with each successive GTA, so in GTA 3, there are regular audio tracks that play in standard media players on the disc

              GTA IV's radio banter is some of the best stuff I've ever heard. Especially, the one about "girls can't code, that's why I've never spoken to one!" Lazlow is hilarious as always.

                    Love it! I love the politician battles. Is it "Keep Micheal Graves hand out if your pocket, and off your children's ass." I cry with laughter every time I hear that on GTA IV. Brilliant R*, so original. Can't wait for GTA V!

                                @madman21 yes, that one is really funny. I think it's a commercial for some musical called "Hamster Hair Up" or something :D Other good ones are "FLISA card", "America's Next Top Hooker" and "Pisswasser" (Cheap German Lager for Export Only) :-)

                              A commercial I heard from GTA IV, makes me laugh: Dad: Son, what are you playing the PC Son: A virtual game... (Not for sure what game it was) Dad: What do you do? Son: IT'S LIKE REAL LIFE, YOU CAN DO ANYTHING! I'M GONNA PLAY UNTIL I DIE

                                @Copultra Civil Servant. It's probably a jab at the Sims, which some people love, but I found completely bored me. Real Life actually does play into some video game design, but with GTA it's like here's the city where you reside, now just imagine Nothing is Off Limits, Do what you feel like doing within those borders, which keep growing and growing....
                                The GTA critics feel it just focuses on criminal behavior, but from what I'd heard and read, it's usually player discretion they're pointing out and not missions per se!?! Go figure that one out
