Posted on November 27 2012, 12:11pm | Author: R* Y | Filed Under: Social Club, Games

Announcing the Winter Calendar lineup of official Rockstar Social Club Multiplayer Events with action lined up across Red Dead (including Undead Nightmare and the Complete Edition), Grand Theft Auto IV (including the Episodes modes) and Max Payne 3 (including all the latest and greatest DLC modes). A whole new slate of opportunities to prove your mettle online against your fellow sharpshooters of Social Club, as well as taking on our Rockstar Devs in all of your favorite game modes. The Social Club multiplayer events page will be fired up with a hearth of live streaming action for each event and exclusive prize pack sweepstake gifts - not to mention event leaderboards, live Rockstar-hosted chat and bonus XP de rigueur. Also keep an eye out for chances to unlock new and exclusive Social Club avatar items for your Max Payne 3 Loadouts - we'll of course announce specific details along those lines about unlocks, prizing, special guest players and more in the days leading up to each event.

Here are the Winter Calendar dates:

    PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
    4-7pm EST / 9pm-12am GMT

PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
    11am-2pm EST / 4-7pm GMT

PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
    4-7pm EST / 9pm-12am GMT

  • Friday, January 25th
Grand Theft Auto IV & Episodes from Liberty City
PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
    11am-2pm EST / 4-7pm GMT

    Max Payne 3
PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360

    PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360

  • Saturday, February 23rd
Grand Theft Auto IV & Episodes from Liberty City
PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
    11am-2pm EST / 4-7pm GMT

Events will always include:

  • Chances to Play with/against Rockstar. Some of the very folks who helped create your favorite Rockstar multiplayer games jump online in these sessions to play with fans across Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network and on PC.
  • Exclusive Prize Packs. Enter on the day of each event to have your name drawn to win gear in each of the six events - some of these will definitely include chances to score Grand Theft Auto V gear. Prizing also includes official t-shirts and special collectibles such as Rockstar keychains, Red Dead playing cards and GTAIV license plates, as well as Rockstar stickers and more.

  • Live Video Streams. Flip between two live high resolution video streams on our events page, each showing the in-game view of a Rockstar dev player. We're also on our Twitch page with another stream, showing the stream of a third Rockstar player. Listen in as Rockstar devs often coordinate over headset to dominate the competition.

  • Leaderboards and Unlocks. Participate with us in Max Payne 3 multiplayer during the dates listed above to compete in the leaderboards and for your chance to receive new unlocks. Back in October we gave away some new Max Payne 3 skull masks, and we have a few more we're lining up to give away during the winter.

  • Bonus XP. More weeknights and weekends of bonus XP are coming for Red Dead and Max Payne 3.

  • Live Chat. We'll have two Rockstar-hosted chatrooms running during the day, the first being on the events page and the second on Twitch.

We're also known to jump online to play completely unscheduled and unannounced, just throwing out an impromptu word via Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Steam (for PC matches) when we feel like a bit of multiplayer mayhem. So do make sure you're following us at any or all of those places to get that word as it happens...

@KingKoshan The next Max Payne 3 Triple XP begins this Thursday. We may also announce a multiplayer event prior to the Red Dead one that's already on the calendar. Either way, Triple XP will be live from Thursday through Sunday for both games.
      • psmobius1on February 5 2013, 11:53amReplyFlag
Read on another story a response from R* that MP3 will have an event this coming Thursday (02/07) prior to the RDR scheduled session. Triple XP to follow for the weekend!! I believe the comments are posted in the "War Report" story.

Only 2 Max Payne events :(? Can't wait til spring because modders have taken over RDR and GTAIV

@R* Y. I was wondering when you guys are announcing Spring's multiplayer events. Cheers.
            • R* Yon January 30 2013, 3:22pmReplyFlag
@TurkeyGobbler000 Probably around the end of February so it'll be up for you guys to see before March begins.

Hey R*, I can't wait to see you guys on Feb 7th! But I have two quick questions. Will you guys be doing a spring multiplayer event calendar like this or will you switch it up with different games?
            • R* Yon January 29 2013, 12:21pmReplyFlag
@OneManCrimeWave This calendar ends in February, but as you probably expect we will have more multiplayer events lined up for everyone in the months ahead.

Why did Rockstar Neglect PC? There are so many modders there, One of the mods is called simple native trainer which allows, Godmode, Fly, GodCar, Etc and there is another one called Evil Mod created by Nixolas1 which allows those who possess it to crash other peoples EFLC/GTA IV games, They can also attach objects to the victim.

How about doing something about the modders on XBOX LIVE. They are ruining free roam. One guy froze my console, turned me into a purple tree and was able to set everyone on fire. Please do something soon.
                • R* Yon January 25 2013, 3:59pmReplyFlag
@LoneWolfTre Thanks for letting us know. The next time you see someone that has modified his/her hardware or software to cheat, please send a message to Microsoft, letting them know the Gamertag. Provide any other helpful information including proof if possible:

@ Your support team no longer look for modders/Hacker in GTA 4? I don't even know how you guys finish any modes during the events....

Do I need all of the red dead redemption games to play with R*? I only have Undead Nightmare
                • R* Yon January 14 2013, 4:14pmReplyFlag
@mishi11 Nope, you don't need all of the downloadable content. If you have the Undead Nightmare disc you already have all the DLC. We'll usually play the original Red Dead multiplayer modes plus a bunch of the DLC mixed in.
