Latest Title Update for Max Payne 3 Now Available for Download Across all Platforms

The latest automatic title update is now available to download for Max Payne 3 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. It introduces the following multiplayer fixes and improvements:

  • The Kill screen now shows what weapon and burst the enemy used to kill you
  • Fixed an issue where players would occasionally get stuck in cover
  • Fixed an issue where players would occasionally appear invisible
  • Fixed an issue where game modes could appear to be over 100% full
  • Fixed an issue where occasionally a Loadout slot could overwrite another Loadout slot at the start of a round of Gang Wars
  • Fixed an issue where a party would have trouble loading into a new game after a party member had left

      Don't see where else something like this goes but whatever I've notice as far as the leaderboards goes you guys still have this cheating a** piece a wha wha at #1 (christ-3-16). I say this because i played this hacker many times while knowing he had to be cheating but the last time I played him he was reset back to lvl 1 when before that he sat at 50. So im just wondering if you guys reset his stats y is he still #1 like cant you delete/ban him & whatever happened to the cheaters pool?

        I agree the reloading while running upstairs is also a big problem 4 me. And Ive also beat the story on hard and didn't get a trophy and I had the old getting stuck behind cover like I was paralysed couldn't even aim. maybe ya'll could look into dat also. and the whole running on water in the new map with the yacht needs 2 be fixed also. Thanks

              Funny, i don't think i got this update (PC user here), latest one was 1.0.0.81 and today the 1.0.0.82. My Killcam don't show any info about the weapon used and/or burst by the enemy. And on the support page it shows this patch (11/27/2012) as only for "(Xbox 360 and PS3)". Did it got released for PC or not?

              My max payne 3 launcher does not prompt me to download the update, yet I can play online just as well but I don't see any improvements so the game has definitely not updated.

              What is wrong?

                just wondering, anyones answer would be appreciated. getting stuck in cover, was this in multiplayer or single player or both? this never happened to me in either game mode but in the last few days I got stuck in cover in single player story mode chapter select. the one and ONLY thing I was able to do is double tap A and roll out of it. This only happened maybe 2 or 3 times and it really isnt that big of a deal. Im just wondering if I should email R* support or was this just a wierd glitch that never really happens.

                  Im just curious if you guys are planing in maybe fixing the grenade throwing problem? What grenade problem you may ask? The one where I can throw a grenade 20 feet away but not 3 feet in the air. Im just curious if Im the only person who has brought this to ypur attention or have more people also asked the same and if so are you guys planing on fixing it? Maybe the next time you make a patch update would be nice. Thanks

                    @whyteboi_219 I agree, the grenade physics are bad. You can throw a grenade four stories onto the roof of the bus station, yet throw a grenade in the police station to the first floor, and the grenade gives up half way and falls at your feet.
                    The inability to run up stairs and reload at the same time is slightly annoying too.
                    Glad the grenade launcher got fixed, that seemed to be firing on an upside down trajectory when the game first came out :/
                    This should be one of the top 2 multiplayer games out there, (COD isnt even in my top 5) but sadly its dying ;'(
                    Dont worry though R*, RDR and GTA IV are in my top 5 :)

                  I don't think these have were incorporated in the last patch for PC (11/15).

                  For example, with MP3 in Steam I don't see the weapon plus burst detail in the kill screen. Also, many lobbies still show > 100% fullness. What's up with that?

                      Rockstar, I didn't want to be the cynical one here, but do to your previous updates, I was wondering what new glitch the latest update would introduce, but for some reason I gave you guys the benefit of a doubt thinking you'll get it right this time. I was wrong. Now my character walks really, really slow, and his legs move kinda like he's on an exercise bike. Of all the glitches I've dealt with in the game since May, I think this one is the worse. Very frustrating not being able to move. Max Payne 3 is officially a lemon.

                      All i gotta say R* is i have sent alot of e-mails since launch of game in frustration about all the glitches and hang up in game. I LOVE the new update since dowoading my game plays almost perfect.. Love the additions to the death screen too! Awesome job gettin this game together lookin forward to new DLC dec 4. Thanks R* ! Im still addicted to Payne!

                          I actually never got stuck in cover until AFTER downloading this patch. It happens to me the most if in cover between the windows and stairway in the police station map.
