Chrome Guns Bonus Now Available for All Social Club Members

As a bonus for all Social Club members, and as promised earlier this week, we've just released the shiny, badass new Chrome Weapons unlock for Max Payne 3 Multiplayer.

All members of Social Club can now jump into the in-game Loadout menu, equip and tote chrome variations for all guns that they have unlocked.

To access the chrome options, head into the Arsenal section of the Max Payne 3 multiplayer menus, and Modify one of your Loadouts. While hovering over one of your selected weapons, hit the button for Attachments where you'll be able to upgrade your weapon with all manner of handy add-ons. Select 'Chrome' and roll on out into the battle grounds, knowing that the highly reflective glint will be the last thing your enemies will see before succumbing to a vicious melee attack.

      Friend of Rockstar and friends playing Max Payne 3'm serious problem with my multiplayer mode does not save legend got to level 50 and when I came out of the game for level 33 can someone help me. thank you

      Why the absolute F**K have I been reset AGAIN?! I thought that was fixed... PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO OPEN A SUPPORT TICKET, I HAVE TWO OPEN ALREADY WHERE MY STATS / RANK WERE NOT PROPERLY REINSTATED the last time. Now I've dropped about 7,000 kills in stats?

        @ That's not the case and do you have any idea how many times I've contacted support? I've been Support Tier 1 for a week or so, sent tonnes of screenshot evidence of the server errors I experienced again and... NOTHING.

          - Filed to fetch - don't use SC page to view news and comments, delete http://socialclub. from your address bar.
          - After 3+ weeks of waiting, my stats were finally restored yesterday.

                @H.Y.P.R R* have stopped replying here and I don't think anyone has had a reply to their support ticket, so my guess is that they're working hard, around the clock, to ensure that everyone's fix will be put in place at the same time. This is just a guess of course, but because I had my stats partially reinstated, I think they will be doing the same / rest for everyone else.

                We just gotta keep doing what we've been doing and that's waiting... It's been three weeks, which is a very long time, hopefully R* have some form of consolation / compensation plan in the works too?

                @TMP_007_ I'm on Xbox 360 bro, things are getting BAD over here! Like 50 people online (Free-Aim, you know where all the REAL players are) and like 300 online playing the pitiful 'Soft-Lock' servers. It's hard to get games since the reset... How's the usercount on PS3?

                  @TMP_007_ They will sooner or later, they all just never hurry too much, neither devs fixing stuff for weeks and months (this stat reset problem, disappearing sniper scope etc) nor support guys. 3-4 days of waiting before getting an answer is an usual thing.

                I only played MP3 once since I was reset. And that was yesterday to see if my stats were back, which they were not. I've sent a support ticket and have still gotten no response. Please tell me I will get my 3rd legend level 24 stats back before the next DLC that I ALREADY PAID FOR.

                    They probably have thousands of new Support tickets and this is having to be done manually... Reset players have been through way too much R*, where is some consolation for them, some compensation?

                    This is beyond ridiculous now. 2 whole weeks, really? Just ask yourselves, between yourselves, that... "Two who weeks guys, really?"

                      Don't expect the following however:

                      XP Gained since reset
                      Stats Gained since reset
                      Legend status (if you went up a Legend during reset, that won't be recognised).

                      I know it's a lengthy procedure, but you just have to follow this and wait:


                      There are a lot of players with various issues regarding the reset and R* will be working on all individual cases, hopefully we can get these fixes and perhaps some sort of compensation BEFORE the DLC that many of us have paid for, goes live.
