1) You have to go up to rank 40 after attaining legendary status to get the bull!!! what the hell!!! You do all the work to get to legendary (and it is WORK, nobody could describe doing the same handful of hideouts HUNDREDS of times in a row as fun) and then all you get is a 'legendary character' which in reality isnt much different to all the other characters.....why didnt you have some real legendary western people like Billy the kid, wild bill hicc**k, doc holliday, calamity jane etc???? And a badge....big deal, not much reward for all that work. You should have also gotten a legendary mount straight away. You would have to play and repeat gang hideouts all day every day for weeks and even months to get all these unlocks....which would be mindnumbingly boring. Gang hideouts are the only way of getting significant amounts of xp 'quickly' and by quickly i mean you'll still have to do them hundreds and hundreds of times.
Please fix this, because to be honest there isnt really enough to do in free roam to keep me coming back. All there is, journal challenges....which i've already done in single player, a handful of gang hideouts, and that's it....apart from killing other players, which only earns you a measly 10xp despite them generally being much tougher to kill than some AI character which will give you the same amount, actually only half as much if get a good kill string together.
Why no mini games? why no bartering? and why are most locations pretty much ghost towns in free roam.
The biggest and best thing you could do for this game though, would be a DLC which adds multiple outcomes and multiple endings for the single player game & also adds more things to spend your cash on. That would take this from being a great game, to being the best game ever made. Free roam was supposed to free gamers from linear games, well being able to do a few missions in a slightly different order is hardly breaking away from linear games.
The rest of the game is awesome btw.
and you have to investigate it .or not.
Will there be dogs that can go with you to hunt animals and/or come with you and attack people who try to harm John?
will there be swimming or not?
thanks.
FFA stands for Free For All – more details on that next week when we reveal details on Red Dead Redemption multiplayer.
