Now Available at Rockstar Warehouse: The Long-Sleeve Colors and Rolling Tees

Posted on August 21 2012, 6:01pm | Author: R* W | Filed Under: Rockstar

Rounding out this season's collection of new tees at the Rockstar Warehouse are two new long-sleeve joints perfect for those transitional months: the bright, white Colors design, and the heavy, black edition of the Rolling style. Read on for more apparel details...

Bright and white with a crisp, classic athletic feel - each color that spells out Rockstar Games down the left arm of this long-sleeve tee pays homage to Rockstar Studios.

Constructed from 100% cotton, the clean styling of the white long-sleeve Rockstar Colors Tee also features a blue Rockstar Games logo on the chest.

The long-sleeve, heavyweight edition of the lighter Rolling raglan 3/4 baseball tee we released earlier this summer.

Inspired by the heady rock & roll vibes of the 70s, this one is a bit more Black Sabbath than Creedence Clearwater Revival.

I'm liking the white long sleeve, it's cool because it's simple, gonna have to order one of those! Also i hope the GTA 5 ones use a simple "template" like that as i've never been a lover of the big logos and art on t-shirts.....=)
      Much appreciated!!!!!

I've looked at the Rockstar Warehouse a couple of times in my life (I'm in Ireland so have never really looked at it as a must-buy-from site. Much like I'm a wrestling fan and buy wrestling merchandise, but never from WWE.com, for example).

I hope this will be taken as the constructive criticism that it is (and not personally), but I must say, ye guys have a lot of content to work with from your games, but the products you come out with are shockingly lazy. I wouldn't wear 90% of the clothing on that site (The oddball stuff, like the MP3 flash or the GTA III collectible figure are pretty cool, though).

Everything just seems too clean and polished, and for the most part, is a logo slapped onto the front of a T-shirt. They're the kind of t-shirts you'd expect a Rockstar employee to be wearing at a press conference or gaming event. The kind of thing you'd almost expect to get free as part of a promotion. Not the kind of thing I'd shell out €22 for.

A bit of imagination would go a long way. It's not like you've nothing to work with. The Max Payne Hawaiian (unsure if I spelt that correctly) shirt is good.

Straight off the top of my head; why not do a d**kie's workshirt kind of shirt, that's a copy of the TLAD leather jackets. With the popularity of bikers lately and that Sons of Anarchy show, I'd imagine that a TLAD workshirt would sell really well (obviously it'd be a workshirt and not actually a leather jacket, as that'd be far too expensive for mass-appeal).

Another good workshirt could be an LCPD 'replica' shirt. A police style shirt bearing LCPD on it (a copy from game) with the badge embroidered on the shoulder (could equally work with NOOSE).

Or even an elaborate Jersey with a decent orange/black colour scheme could look good and be a desirable purchase.

Or, seen as those Affliction-style shirts are still so popular, how about a mad, scratch-style Max Payne 3 black and white sketch that spans across the whole front/side of the T-Shirt (not perfectly centered).

This is all off the top of my head, of course. I'm sure with a bit of thought there are many more. It just seems like an awful waste that ye guys only do very basic stuff (ready-made logo, front and centre).

Either way, my moaning aside, I hope the new products sell well and the store is a good source of income for ye guys. Although it's not to my personal taste, it's good that it's there for fans who do enjoy such products.

@chokeslamcena (When I said Max Payne 3 flash at the start of that comment, I meant flask, not flash, sorry.)

@chokeslamcena Hey mate, we appreciate your feedback but do beg to differ about the quality of our game-inspired gear. While of course we like to offer a simple game logo tee for fans that are looking for such a thing, there’s also so much more in each collection. If you have a look at the L.A. Noire collection for instance, there’s the high quality Infantry Shirts and Station Shirts produced in collaboration with Barking Irons and based meticulously on uniform wear of the 1940s period, as well as the original designed Fingerprint Tee, Ransom Letter Tee and Mugshot Tee all inspired by the game’s story. For Red Dead Redemption, there’s everything from the I Heart Zombies Tee to the Outlaws to the End tee to the Barking Irons Flannel and of course all the other items in the Frontier Collection. And of course for Max Payne 3, the Hawaiian shirt, the awesome Bullet Tee and Target Tee, the Gun Bag and more. We of course plan to continue producing lots more original and creative gear for official game gear collections in the future, so we hope you stay tuned for much more down the line. Cheers.

                  @ Hey R* A,

I appreciate the reply. It made me do a little bit more digging. I just checked the LA Noire section of the Warehouse and couldn't see such a shirt. Same for Red Dead.

I did, however (via Google) find Newswire posts in relation to the Barking Irons shirts and they both (the White LA Noire and Flannel Red Dead shirts) actually look pretty good. I like the LA Noire one, more, if I were honest.

Maybe I've just been unlucky in my time checking the R* warehouse (these items no longer show up, so I'm assuming they sold out or are no longer available) but I've never seen those before. They're a pretty good idea of what I was talking about (and look much more like something that the average person could wear in their day to day life. Except me, of course, as if I wore that Flannel shirt I'm sure I'd be mistaken for Mick Foley!).

Through another Google search, I found the Infantry shirt, which is exactly the type of thing I was initially talking about. That's a great looking product (in my opinion).

So all in all, I suppose an apology is in order. Clearly my comment was a bit lazy and ignorant. I'm happy to say I'm wrong (but will admit that I have honestly never seen any of those products before).

Thanks for the decent reply back, by the way. (I know a lot of companies tend to hide/delete/remove anything that could sound borderline negative about their products, so it's refreshing to see ye guys defend your stuff and be mannerly/mature about my comment).

@chokeslamcena No worries at all. As much of the older gear mentioned was limited-edition to begin with and now either sold out or very low in stock here in the US, there's a chance a lot of it is currently not available via the European shipping store. But of course all our recent gear and merchandise to come in the future will be available internationally. If you do see something you'd like to get your hands on though, feel free to shoot a mail to store@rockstargames.com and maybe something can be worked out. Cheers.

                  @ Cheers, R* A.

I shall have to keep a closer eye on the store (and the Newswire in general).

Anyway, I'll leave you in peace. Cheers for responding and hope all is well in your world.

@chokeslamcena I don't know if anyone remembers the Rockstar Good Time tee. That was one of my favorites from the warehouse. Its no longer available though.

These particular shirts are creative in my opinion, a bit of a mix of pop culture and Rockstar (for example the Clockwork Orange tee). Look forward to see what you guys have in store for the holidays. Peace.

@ I think selling the OLD Grand Theft Auto's for xbox live and psn or actual Disc form for Playstation 2 on the warehouse would be amazing! i'm not sure how that would work. Because i cant seem to find brand new copies :L i still have a brand new Liberty city stories. and Vice city stories.. in it's original packaging :L that's only bcause i sold my psp :) but you get the idea.

@SpareBricks Yes, those are probably from around 2005, 2006 or so. Cool that you remember - were you able to get one at the time? This is why we always encourage snapping up these limited-edition styles right when we release them, as when that style is sold out, that's it!

@Megadeth1994 Thanks for the feedback. We actually do have many PS2 game titles available at our North American shipping facility if you're in the US (https://www.rockstarwarehouse.com/Category.aspx?pi=All&srt=&c=Games&v=PS2) including some of those GTA titles you're referring to. We are currently working on bringing this inventory to Europe and internationally as PAL games too.

Hello Rockstar, how thick is the top shirt? Is it like a jumper? It gets cold in the UK.

@LewisMiller Not sure how to quantify its 'thickness' but it's a good quality, 100% cotton and it should help keep the cold out on those autumnal evenings to come!

@LewisMiller I have both of these, it's not as thick as a jumper, it's just a long sleeved shirt basically, same thickness as the tees.
