With this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony right around the corner, we wanted to take this opportunity to extend our congratulations to iconic musician and Grand Theft Auto veteran Phil Collins - who will be entering the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with his band mates Genesis.
In addition to contributing three songs to the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories soundtrack - "Easy Lover" with Philip Bailey, "Turn It on Again" by Genesis and the solo hit "In The Air Tonight" - Phil Collins made a special appearance as a character in the game, enlisting the help of Vic Vance to protect him from some would-be assassins during the "Phil Collins: Live in Vice City" concert. For those of you that may have never seen it before, below is the Phil Collins concert from Vice City Stories, compliments of GTAMissions YouTube channel.
Also being inducted this year along with the rest of The Stooges is punk rock legend Iggy Pop, who lent his inimitable voice to the Liberty City radio dial in Grand Theft Auto IV as the host of Liberty Rock Radio, which also includes The Stooges classic "I Wanna Be Your Dog".
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies take place at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City on Monday March 15th, and will be broadcast live on Fuse. For more information, visit the official Rock and Roll Hall of Fame website.
