Tsquared's Max Payne 3 Multiplayer Pro Tips (via X-Play)

Posted on June 22 2012, 4:38pm | Author: R* Q | Filed Under: Games

After showing off impressive skills in his recently released Max Payne 3 Multiplayer montage video, MLG Pro Player and Max Payne 3 fan Tsquared appeared on this week's episode of X-Play on G4 to impart some of his tried and true methods of Max Payne Multiplayer ownage with the world.

Above you can watch the full Multiplayer Pro Tips segment highlighting such favorite techniques as the aerial assault dive kill: "This is where your elevated height will be working to your advantage - the enemy will be slowed down big time, so it will be hard for them to put the reticle on an object that is higher than them. And BOOM, a 'dive kill' - only possible in Max Payne 3". Plus lots of other great strategic Multiplayer recommendations for maximizing your Bullet Time® and Shootdodge™ abilities.

I've only recently got back into Max Payne 3 multiplayer and I keep getting my ass kicked! Terrible. I used to be quite good but lately I have only had small bursts of success, like yesterday when I single handedly destroyed an entire team in "Last Team Standing" mode. In one round, I ran into the room with the sofa chairs in the Fabricas Branco headquarters map and just murdered the entire team with my sawnoff shotgun, within the first minute of play. That was great. Funny, because I used shoot dodge to win that game and then wondered why I kept getting my ass handed back to me when I moved on to other game modes. Watching this video just now proves that if I just kept doing what I did to that team then I would have been more successful. The answer was right under my nose the entire time!

So I'm guessing Rockstar's going to break tradition and not release on a Tuesday? Because tomorrow is Tuesday and June is just about over and we don't even have the "details" yet.
          • BudgetCrosson June 25 2012, 3:41pmReply
@Tom543 Man the guys at Rockstar must be very busy. They're working on a new patch, DLCs, people's complains GTA V, Agent and other unannounced contents. I think the DLC will be delayed but we need to have patience. They can't tell you an exact date because, It's not easy to predict how long it will take to finish the project.

          • Tom543on June 25 2012, 1:34pmReply
@Vlado-V95 That's why they keep stringing us along. The less info they give us, the more we keep checking, the more web hits they get.

          Rockstar said:
@GharibStar A new patch for the game is in testing, so look for some news coming up in the next few weeks

This statement from Rockstar is very depressing and borderline insulting. Here I am thinking that after suffering since release that we are finally going to actually be able to play this game without all of the freezing and eternal load times, only to find out we have to wait "a few more weeks" which in Rockstar's terms could mean weeks or months. I was expecting the patch to come out with the new DLC that's suppose to come out this week. I think we've all been patient and waited long enough. Now I'm starting to think the DLC isn't coming in June either. I just wish we could get a solid date of when to expect. Remember how long Rockstar kept us in the dark for Myths and Mavericks? And, according to their statement, we have to wait a few weeks just to get news??? How about the actual patch, Rockstar?

This is an amazing game, but the fact of the matter is, people are going to find a different game to play because Rockstar is taking so long to patch the problems and people are getting impatient and will move on, making the lobbies empty. This is why I regret buying that Rockstar pass, because nobody's going to play MP3 with all of the problems, and by the time you guys do fix it, everyone will have moved on. There's no word from Rockstar except the same old "stay tuned, info coming in the following WEEKS". It drives me NUTS when that's all we get from you guys. We wait weeks and weeks, only to be told to wait a few more weeks. Please, tell us some useful info instead of the same old, same old. We did drop a pretty penny on this game, and with the Rockstar pass it's almost $100, which is a ton of money these days to be spending on a video game that, 2 months into it's existence, is still unplayable. I sure would like to be able to enjoy this game as it was intended. Thanks

@Tom543 You can actually expect the next title update very soon, in the meantime please contact our Support team so they can look into some of the issues you're experiencing:

          • Tom543on June 25 2012, 12:13pmReply
@R* Y I would contact them with the issues I'm having but it would be futile as I'm sure Rockstar is already overwhelmed with complaints about load times/connection issues. And when you say soon, I wish you could give us a target date. Soon from you guys could mean a few more weeks, or tomorrow. I just don't want to see a wonderful game go to waste because of some server issues. You can tell it took you guys 8 years to make because of all the content, and I know you guys don't want your 8 years to go to waste. If you can give us a date, it would make people feel a lot better.

R* please answer this. In mp3 multiplayer weapons, i am missing the LAW launcher and also the M82A1 sniper rifle. I have bugs such as commented in this article but lack of these weapons worries me more than any bug. Or is it just that those weapons came in the special pre-order edition? (i pre -ordered the standard edition) Could i get them some how? Its a great game and thanks anyway.

@K-E316 well done! Im strugglin on the final chapter right now.
            • K-E316on June 25 2012, 3:22amReply
@ErnestoRock I would recommend playing that chapter on Hard a few times so that way you are better prepared. Also, know where the painkillers are and use bullet time effectively.
            • ErnestoRockon June 25 2012, 3:49amReply
@K-E316 I know where the painkillers are, and how to handle bullet time until I reach the final part. I lost so many times by Becker, that im rushing and lost my confidence now.
