Max Payne 3 is now available at retail stores across North America for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The latest in the groundbreaking series known for bringing Bullet Time®, noir atmosphere and Hong Kong action movie aesthetics to video games, Max Payne 3 combines highly sophisticated gunplay and fluid movement with a dark, twisted narrative, and intensely cinematic presentation.
 
Max Payne 3 picks up the story of fallen former New York City detective Max Payne - several years after the events of the original games. Close to washed up and addicted to painkillers, Max accepts a job offer of private security work in São Paulo, Brazil, protecting wealthy businessman Rodrigo Branco and his beautiful trophy wife Fabiana in the hopes of an escape from his tragic past. When Fabiana is abducted while under Max’s protection, Max finds himself caught up in something much larger than a simple kidnapping, looking for answers on the streets of an unfamiliar city as his personal demons return to haunt him once again. 
 
In a first for the series, Max Payne 3 brings the series’ signature combination of precise shooting, fluid movement and Bullet Time to online multiplayer, with a range of co-operative and competitive modes that allow players to compete in free-for-all matches, fight for the chance to play as Max Payne himself in Payne Killer, or build out events from the single-player story in the dynamically branching Gang Wars mode.
 
Max Payne 3 is also the first Rockstar title to feature Crews, persistent clans of friends that can play together online, building alliances and rivalries while tracking progress and Crew Feuds through the Social Club. Crews extend across platforms and across game titles, with Crews created within Max Payne 3 ready and available for players in Grand Theft Auto V and other future titles.
 
Developed across Rockstar Games Studios Worldwide, Max Payne 3 is now available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America and coming this Friday, May 18th in Europe. Look for the PC version launching on June 1st in North America and Europe as well.       please please please please please please please fix the multiplayer server . its shiiiiiit server , its always lagggging and kicked us out from game and its always says host failed magration.

      and please dnt say send email to ur company u r rockstar should make something with this problems , please fix that server . its a big game u must take care of it,

      hi Rockstar, I love the games you offer us and max payne 3 is one of them, but i hate to say that the maxpayne3 multiplayer is the most irritating of all the games i have ever played. taking about playing, it takes me more than 30-40 minutes to get in a game and when it is loading suddenly there is an error "you have been removed due to connection problems" or "host migration failed" EVERYTIME. can you do something about it? after waiting for an hour i get 8 minutes of gameplay!!! come on guys !!

      Rockstar. Are u aware that sniper rifle site is not working and lagging on different maps. I love the disorganized map but should u not first test the content before releasing it so we as players can at least enjoy the game and not have so many bugs on the PC.

      I got Max Payne 3 yesterday and it's just EPIC !!! Awesome game like all the R* next gen games , amazing graphics (shadows and lights , elements , backgrounds ... ) , modes , story , and one of the best multiplayer i ever played , i started to make a good Rockstargames game-collection with GTA IV and both episodes , Red Dead Redemption with Undead Nightmare and now Max Payne 3 ! And im not gonna hesitate to build a huge collection in the futur .
      So i have to say your games are the best of the best and thank you for such a good quality :)

        I have realised that rockstar have been using the saints sign (from saints row), in 2 games gta iv and max payne 3. In gta its on niko's bed in alderny and in max payne 3 on the floor on one of the missions. Probably taking the mick lol.

                  4.INSTALL SOCIAL CLUB
                  5. COPY PROFILE FOLDER TO DOCUMENTS /ROCKSTAR GAMES/SOCIAL CLUB/ AND PASTE IT
                  NOW AM COPY CRACK AND PASTE IT TO THE GAME FOLDER
                  NOW AM DISABLE ANTIVIRUS AND FIREWALL
                  NOW I HIT THE PLAY MAX PAYNE 3 THE HAS STOPPED ONLY LOADINGGGGGGGGGGGGG

                      I love the max payne franchise, especially the dark and cynical mood and themes it explores. the Irony of the addictive nature of gaming while playing a character addicted to alcohol, painkillers and violence was not lost on me. The graphics, physics, game play and the over all execution of the game is superb, and I wouldn't expect less from rockstar.
                      My only complaint is the discrepancy between the damage the weapons cause in the game and the actual ballistics of the real world weapons. For example, the FAL FN fires a 7.62 + 51 mm NATO round, while the Mini 30 fires a Russian inspired 7.62 + 39 rounds, and yet, fewer mini 30 shots destroy you in the game while the FN FAL's heavy rounds are much less powerful in the game. ...my consolation is that they got the G36 and G3S right :)
