Last weekend, 16 of the world's best competitive gamers fought it out in the Max Payne 3 Pro Exhibition - going head-to-head in multiplayer 4 vs. 4 Team Matches and Deathmatch tournaments at the MLG Arena here in New York and vying for a total cash prize purse of $30,000. 

The event will be broadcast online mere hours before the North American launch of Max Payne 3 this Monday, May 14th 8:00 PM Eastern at www.majorleaguegaming.com, GameSpot and here on the Rockstar Newswire. Here's a quick taste of the action that transpired in this special video featuring game footage and some of the players reactions to the Max Payne 3 Multiplayer experience (you can see the team rosters below with links to their Twitter feeds).

            @R* A Ah damn...
            I actually wanted to see how you guys did the "Bullet-time" motion capture, the jumps of Max Payne and all that, just the guys in the motion capture departement, how they jump, on the floor or on carpets, or they just half-jump and the rest done with Euphoria, that what i want to know, i don't think photos will show enough...
            Anyway 1 thing is better than 0.... Videos, photos or even a text article no problem, i'll check it this week

            You guys are very lucky and doesn't even know it. While you're all getting the game this week, I'm just gonna be able to play it in the end of the month! I'm brazillian and the game just launches here at 05/31 - also, sorry for my bad english. As I said, i'm not a native speaker!

            However, I'm pretty sure it'll be worth the wait. Max Payne 3, like all the other Rockstar games, is certainly gonna be FANTASTIC. I was very pleased to see that São Paulo was so faithfully recreated in game and I really have to say: CONGRATULATIONS, Rockstar. You're the best game company I've ever seen. Just keep developing your spectacular games!

            Simple question R*, why the extra wait for europe and other country's? Why can't it all be released on the same day, along with the PC version?

              @DemonGuY23 They already said why, it's because in Europe, movies and games are normally released on Fridays and in America, movies and games are normally released on Tuesday. They don't find it a big deal because originally, there would be a three month difference before. I'd rather have three days than three months.
