Max Payne 3 Video Previews and Interviews at IGN, G4, GameTrailers and Destructoid

A big round of Max Payne 3 video interviews have hit in the past few days - touching on both the single-player story and the game's multiplayer experience.

IGN's new video preview of Max Payne 3 dives deep into the mechanics and features that make up Max's bullet-riddled world. Highlighted in the piece are the advanced Euphoria physics that turn Max into 'a wrecking ball' and allow him to dive and slide down steps in realistic, and painful looking ways, and the game's fluid blend of the third-person perspective with slick FPS controls - to create a game they call 'the 3rd-person shooter to beat in 2012'.

And Lead Multiplayer Designer Charlie Bewsher recently sat down for a series of interviews with G4, GameTrailers and Destructoid to talk about the game's unique multiplayer Gang Wars and Payne Killer modes - and provide more details on how Bullet Time®, Loadouts and other multiplayer customization options work.                 @bbr1116 We don't usually discuss that sort of thing, as the source of our video and screens can differ from game to game and sometimes video to video, rest assured that we're delivering the full Max Payne 3 experience to all three platforms

                  @R* wow i didnt know that so much persons were working on the game! The fact that the scenario is written at New York explain why your stories are so awesomly written. Can you tell me how many persons are working on the game (in number).

                    R*, why won't Max Payne 3's PC version support Games For Windows LIVE like GTA IV? I know L.A. Noire also didn't, but Team Bondi was also involved in the making of the game so I decided to stay quiet but, why did GTA IV supported it and Max Payne 3 won't?

                              @Qcfrank89 Max Payne 3 is a cross-studio collaboration, with Rockstar studios London, Vancouver, Toronto and New England primarily sharing ideas and talent on the project (although other studios are also involved), with the entire project overseen by the core creative and development team in New York. We’ve been working this way to a degree for a while, but for Max Payne 3 we’ll be formally crediting development to the new Rockstar Studios label.
