(The Kibbutz Brothers are always looking for a little action around town.)
The Kibbutz Brothers are Liberty City club scene fixtures known for living life in the fast lane. In The Ballad of Gay Tony, it isn't long before Luis runs into Brucie's older brother Mori while trying to settle debts for Tony Prince. Mori, in the mission "This Ain't Checkers", offers Luis the chance to participate in a triathlon (racing via parachute, boat, and car) with some particularly high stakes. If Luis can finish the race in first place, Mori has promised to clear all of Tony's debt. If Luis loses… he becomes Mori's servant for life.
Just like our last game tip for "Sexy Time", all of the objectives to achieve 100% mission completion do not need to be done in one play through. You can complete one objective at a time as long as you have the mission replay feature unlocked (you must complete the main story to unlock this feature).
Whether you are attempting a mission replay for the first time or have been striving to get 100% across the board, you can check out how your individual mission scores compare to other players using the Social Club Mission Replay Leaderboards.
Here’s our official handy guide to achieving 100% completion in "This Ain't Checkers" – you will need to complete these 4 objectives:

(A perfect landing to score an ace time in the triathlon.)
1. Land in a boat while parachuting

(Free-falling toward the Statue of Happiness and the start of the boat race.)
2. Complete the mission in 0:07:35 or less
While parachuting directly into a boat is a key recommended step in getting a good time in this mission, there are also a few other tricks you can use to shave precious seconds off your time.
- When you are free-falling, make sure to "streamline" yourself so you fall faster. You achieve this by pushing the left analog stick forward.
- At the end of the boat race, make sure to run your boat aground. To do this, run the boat at full speed and then right as you hit the shore press "Y" to let go of the controls so you can jump out quickly when the boat comes to a stop.
- In the car portion of the race, make sure to only use your nitrous at the start of straight-aways. You don't want to go flying off the track when you have to hit a tight turn at high speed.
- Don't forget that your nitrous regenerates (press "B" to use it).

(Don't forget to let go of the controls just before you hit the shore.)
3. Take no player damage
Since there are no enemies shooting at you in this mission, the only times you need to really worry about damage are:
- When parachuting: make sure to land softly and don't come in too fast.
- End of the boat race: when you jump out of your boat, be careful not to get clipped by other racers pulling up onto the shore.
- The car race: if you ever find yourself on foot during this portion of the mission, watch out not to get run over and avoid a high speed crash at all costs.
4. Stay in first place from the boat race to the finish line
Easier said than done, but after you’ve achieved step one above, make sure you pay constant attention to the direction the race markers are pointing so that you can align yourself with the next checkpoint.
Just like in our last game tip, using taxis is considered cheating during all parts of a mission replay and your stats will not be collected.

Btw, are there any plans to bring these kind of races to multi-player? Whenever I played Free Race and Cannonball Run I always thought it would be great if you needed to use different methods of travel but, although you still have the choice, driving is always quickest. It would be great to see these kind of events in multi-player, especially with a GTA Race style.
Thanks again Rockstar!
These tips you're providing are much appreciated.
