Pre-Order Max Payne 3 from Select Retailers by April 15th and Get Early Access to the Pill Bottle Loadout Item

Anyone that pre-orders Max Payne 3 from the retailers below by April 15th will get early access at game launch to the Pill Bottle - a multiplayer Loadout item which allows you to carry more health-reviving painkillers as you fight. This item provides you with the capacity to carry extra painkillers – helping you survive longer amidst the killing fields of online multiplayer.

In Max Payne 3 multiplayer, you can equip your character with up to five unique Items that boost your attributes to help you stay alive in online matches. We'll be revealing more of these soon, but for now you can guarantee early access to the life-saving Pill Bottle by pre-ordering by April 15th from any of the retailers listed below (the Pill Bottle will be made available to the general public at some point after game launch). Stay tuned for more retail partners that may be added here soon.

*For everyone in France, you can get this item when you pre-order from Auchan (PS3 | 360) through launch.

Well R* whats the point in pre-ordering for this bonus if you are just gonna give it to everyone anyways? This should just be at least a pre-order only bonus. But it is what it is guys can't wait for this game!

@iSpeedophile Ha! Yes, I agree - I am more than happy with the contents of the SE but I still think I'll pick up all of these extra items when they release. I'll need all the help I can get!

I just pre-ordered the Special Edition with HMV in the UK. So pumped right now.

@iSpeedophile Yes. Unless you pre-order with one of the above listed retailers before April 15th (Special Edition or Standard) then you will not recieve the Pill Bottle Loadout item - however, it will be made available for purchase to everyone at a later date.
In short, it's not included in the Special Edition, only with pre-orders, if that's what you're asking.

So everyone who has pre-ordered the special edition will have to buy this as an extra when the game comes out? I just wonder because the special edition has to be pre-ordered before april 2nd.

I'm still hesitant about these preorder bonuses for multiplayer, but I have a feeling Rockstar will make it work. On the other hand, I've already preordered the Special Edition from FutureShop here in Canada, and currently there's no preorder bonus, so I'm a little worried that I'm going to be at a disadvantage.

Hey @R, I pre-ordered the special edition from Discshop a long time ago, and if my memory serves me correctly I'll get the cemetary pack from there, does that mean I'll get this "pill bottle item" as well? Whenever you list places that you'll get bonuses from I've never seen Discshop mentioned, but I do remember getting the extra stuff anyway, so will that happen with this as well?
