The Weapons of Max Payne: The Mini-30 Rifle (New Video, Screens & 360-Degree Renders)
Our latest feature on the wide range of high-powered weaponry from Max Payne 3's awesome arsenal focuses on the Mini-30 rifle - a deadly piece of kit that's built like a tank and packs the punch of one too. Whether at a distance via scope or at close quarters, the rapid fire and lightweight nature of this rifle makes short - and messy - work of enemies.
Explore the video module above to see its brutal stopping power, impressive range and precise accuracy in action, along with detailed 360-degree renders that show off all of its individually modeled components and a selection of all-new screenshots.

@MeanBob91 Look for soundtrack details coming up closer to the release of the game, and remember that the soundtrack is included with the Special Edition:

I definitely can't wait to play Max Payne 3 as I've been a fan of Remedy's previous installments and I hope it'll be the best R* has ever released. At first I was worried about the way this installment was headed, but now I'm definitely excited!
Anyway, I have 2 questions regarding Max Payne 3. The first one being a bit long because it involves the original games that are very dear to me:
1) In many interviews and previews, it's been said that Max Payne 3 has been said to stay true to its roots of the original games with it's gameplay mechanics, narrative, bullet time, and more - to be up to today's standards, which I'm definitely happy about. You guys weren't kidding when you're saying that at all, but one thing that made Max Payne an iconic franchise in my opinion was the music in the 1st and 2nd game - the work of Kartsy Hatakka and Kimmo Kajasto. Are they reprising their music experience with the game or is someone else stepping in? Is the new composer(s) coming in with a new approach with a different feel, trying to stick to what we've heard in the original games, or a bit of both?
2) What is the lead platform for Max Payne 3?

@Genesicity We haven't made any announcements about doing that, keep in mind that we did release "The Art of Grand Theft Auto IV" with the Special Edition back in 2008
Maybe slightly off topic but regarding those wicked artwork R* artists concoct., could they ever be bundled in a art-book or something , so we can get to see the sketches and development of some of our favorite characters.
This was not doable maybe a few years ago due to the number of games but the prospect seems like the games are gonna keep piling up , bet you guys have an archive full of cool drawings and concept sketches..please share this with the world :D I would really, really, really build a shrine for a book like that:D
@emmi18176860 Many thanks for the infomations man, much appreciated!

@Rockstar Games: hey, how do you guys do your art work for gta, maxpayne, RDR games ??
Thanks alot for your prompt reply! I have read the article and wondered - as the article says you will play as Max or Passos - can you use the special edition classic characters pack Max Payne 2 skin as Max? I have already pre-ordered my special edition!
Again, much appreciated,
