Congratulations to The Small Faces on Their Induction to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

We would like to congratulate The Small Faces on their forthcoming induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, happening this April – and formally express our gratitude for lending us “Ogden’s Nut Gone Flake” recently as the score to the first GTAV Trailer.

A truly well-deserved recognition for one of the music world’s most underappreciated and influential bands.

Congratulations to all the other inductees for 2012 as well including Grand Theft Auto soundtrack veterans Axl Rose and Guns N’ Roses.

R* has the best video game soundtracks out there. They fit the mood of the game perfectly. It's not too mainstream, but its still original and good for everyone. Not just the music of GTA, but the composers for Red Dead and LA Noire are astonishing. Apparently Dan Houser helps with finding the music, which I was surprised to hear considering he's from UK and chooses hip-hop artists like Busta Rhymes and Styles P. Awesome. Perfect song for the trailer too!

The music is perfectly fitting GTA V's first trailer. Not talking about the tunes itself, but the way it's implemented to work with the scenery in every shot of the trailer, it's just impressive, and as an example, when the footage of that car passing by the wind turbines turns on, the tune changes to be accompanied with a slow resonance, which reflects the open-area, high ground scenery, with a slow-moving car suffering from the dusty road in the long distance.

Just saw the video - awesome quality, when it's probably from the late 60's or early 70's!

And introducing Small Faces to GTA V SOUNDS promising for the game! :-)

Totally agree and about time...Small Faces deserves it!
I was brought up with Small Faces, my mothers boyfriend used to give me
my tapes with SF albums on when I was about 13, and just starting to listen to music -
so Small Faces influenced my musical taste a lot.

Always get's in a totally 60's mood (though I wasn't born then, when I hear Itchycoo Park...totally groovy.
And speaking about groovy, (If You Think You're) Groovy ...is one of my fave tracks!

                                Nice one R*!

Rockstar allways seem to find the great songs that have not yet been played too much, I'm not sure if it is that the songs become good after they are in GTA, or if they allways was good, but you just never heard them before. And I know that they will succeed in GTA V like in all the previous games.
