Rockstar Desktops: Comic Strip Series

As a last little digital stocking stuffer before the new year, we present this brand new set of designs from the Rockstar Desktops Collection (also available in mobile formats, plus as avatars and buddy icons).

Inspired by the classic visual conventions and tropes of vintage B&W newspaper comic strips - with just a nod to the upcoming return of Max Payne, a franchise itself partly inspired by the grit of pulpy graphic novels.

great desktop material. i tried to do something like this in my windows paint but there is only so much you can do. also not to be off topic but is it legal for amazon to be pre selling gta-v already and charging people for it? just curious is all like i said i don't mean to be off topic. i was always told to sell an item you had to have it in hand to sell it. .

Retro!! I love it!! Can you imagine if Rockstar exsisted during the era when this type of comic book / black&white art was really popular? HAHA people would have been shocked and scared right out of their own skin while screaming "SAAAAAAAATAAAAAAN WORSHIPERS!!"

Good stuff though Rockstar your art department is second to none!! The inspiration you give out for free is mind boggling! Seriously when I browse through the Wallpaper downloads I feel like I'm in Art Class and it's wonderful!
