Announcing the Max Payne 3 Special Edition

Today we're proud to unveil the first details of the Max Payne 3 Special Edition for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC - available for pre-order starting today and only until April 2nd, 2012 while supplies last. Retailing for $99.99/£99.99/€109.99 and featuring digital multiplayer character and weapon packs not found anywhere else, this definitive Special Edition of Max Payne 3 will include:

•    A copy of Max Payne 3.
•    10” tall Collectible Max Payne Statue created in a collaboration between TriForce and Rockstar Games.
•    Series of game-inspired Original Still Life Art Prints that depict some of Max Payne’s inner demons and vices.
•    Copper and brass-plated iron, bullet-shaped Bullet Keychain featuring a screw-off back.
•    Classic Multiplayer Character Pack of eight playable multiplayer characters for Max Payne 3 Multiplayer, including fan favorites from the original Max Payne and Max Payne 2 like Max Payne from Max Payne 2, Mona Sax and Vladimir Lem.
•    Disorderly Conduct Multiplayer Weapons Pack for Max Payne 3 Multiplayer that includes the Hammerhead Auto Shotgun, G9 Grenade Launcher and Molotov cocktail.
•    Max Payne 3 Official Soundtrack featuring the game’s instrumental score.

got my collectors edition at the midnight release game is 5/5 amazing action packed i love it the figure is very detailed and the key chain is bad ass great job on an amazing game

I have not bought a Collector's/Special Edition in a long time, because normally they are not worth it. With all the bells and whistles blowing on this Special Edition i am all over it and canceled the standard ed. for this one. The 10" statue and bullet key chain alone is worth it, but having the artwork, soundtrack, multi-player add-on's are just more icing for this big grand cake of yummy!

Even the most hardcore fan wouldn't buy a special edition three times, would he? At least I couldn't think of anyone doing that. I normally don't even buy special editions at all, as they are (at the time) too expensive for me, though I'll make an exception on that for GTAV's special edition xD

@NYPDMAXPAYNE No, really? To me it wouldn't make any sense buying a Special Edition three times. You are a big Max Payne fan, so buying the main game for all platforms could be ok, but buying the Special Edition for all three. NO WAY!!!
