Hadn't played RDR for a while, updated and noticed the issue with golden guns if not signed in.

Update for 9/23/11: The issue with pre-order Golden Guns losing their color should now be resolved. Please make sure you are connected to the Internet and signed in when loading your save file. You will not need to download anything as the patch will be applied automatically.
The patch only seems to apply when online, in offline mode the issue remains how about a permanent patch.

@Amphedark Thanks for giving us your thoughts
THANKS ROCKSTAR for being a seriously dedicated team.
Thank you for your time and this INCREDIBLY unique DLC, I hope you take heart to my suggestions! In fact, I'd be willing to pay for more DLC simply to make the single player harder. Undead Overrun is designed to kill you, thus it's not really necessary... but in single player, you have Dead Eye, which is almost overkill for an already disadvantaged enemy.

@potailung The Support team is indeed looking into this, see the comment at the bottom of this page for the latest:

Is this true?
... I contacting R* support and they pointed out that there is a new option to turn them on or off in the single player config menu. It usually defaults to them being turned off, so just simply go to the options and turn them back on. Easy!
Also, it would be awesome, if you would create an option, where we can create our own character(s) in both SP and MP.
Anyhow, please respond to my inquiry at your convenience.
Sincerely yours,
PS: Awesome game!!!!!!!!!
