I bought my copy of LA Noire for the PS3 just last month.
Now, since I want to extend the already great single player experience, I wish to purchase the DLC.

However, I live in India but own the UK version of the game. I have a UK account, meaning I should be able to purchase the DLC from the UK store. What I want to know is, should I buy the Rockstar pass or the individual cases? If I purchase the Rockstar pass, I will have to download the DLC from the in game store..am I right?

Also, most importantly, after downloading and installinng the DLC on my UK account, will I be able to use the DLC on my India account? Thank you.

Do u no that u have to buy the rockstar pass and the download everything for free did u notice if u was on the la noire xbox live marketplace screen it said owned get the content

ya i just spent 960 points or something like that on the rockstar pass....then i read the things on here that since i got the pass they are free to download inidividually....NOT THE CASE!!!!!! im kinda irritated

L.A NOIRE !!!! Great Game. Got the R* PASS and have downloaded all theDLC, I cant access any new cases or suits, Have tried everything I think ?? I want to keep playing this game! Need the new cases!! Any help woud be great??

Really!?! Can anyone else confirm that you need a R* pass from the same country as your version of LA Noire??!!

Just to say I've been talking with R* support and I must say I never had so great results, thank you R* team, not only your games are the best but all the company, what an ******* example!! That's what being a real game dev is about =]

For those with the same problem I had: was my mistake, because I got my Pass at US Store when my game is R2. Reaally noobness I confess, but I just got my PS3, lucky me I made this mistake with R*, I don't believe I would have been listened if was *EverythingAquired* or almost any other dev/publisher out there. Now I have my UK pass and fortunately all DLCs will be in my US acc as well.

Hey, don't want to seem like an idiot but i downloaded the rockstar pass a few days ago now and i see that the dlc is now avalible - when i go into the store via the main menu - and i was just wondering how i actually get the cases. when i select them seperatly it just comes up with purchasing them again and when i choose the rockstar pass it just sais already puchased/installed. i've also looked in the cases part of the menu but they dont show up there either and nor do the suits in-game. i was just wondering if i could get any advise because i wasn't to sure wether there is a fault with my rockstar pass or if i'm just missing something here.

Thanks for the advice LawgiverMK, I ended sending a ticket at that same night and just got the answer today (pretty quick considering support nowadays, mainly from Sony - 5 days and nothing yet..).

But, unfortunately, I don't know if it was misunderstood [/naive mode off] or almost a bot respondig because they gave me a checklist to do in case the game is crashing or freezing '¬¬____ right.

C'mon R*, don't ruin the image I have of you guys, can't you please give us any better information about this? Because really, I even stopped to play the game in the middle *painfully* wanting to continue.. after all DLC after finishing the game doesn't worth the price I spent on it.

@willwaffle Yes, you have to download them individually, but dont worry! Since you have the Rockstar Pass all the DLC is still free!

@WIRAPURU I would do what R* Y and R* A said to do previously and contact Rockstar Support:

i have an xbox and i downloaded the rockstar pass and none of the the content is acsesible in game yet a guy at game stop told me that al the items have to be downloaded indivdualy now i think hes wrong any help

@LawgiverMK I became very hopeful when I saw your reply, quickly downloaded 3.65 on my PS3 AND.... nothing still =( no DLCs whatsoever on my ingame LA Noire Store, just the 'No Downloadable Content'.. no matter how times I try. Glad that this worked for you, hoping some solution here yet.

What should I do? I've already contacted US Playstation support and no response so far, has been 2 days.. I even made a custom short video with my problem:

Funny thing happened yesterday. A new Playstation 3 firmware update was released last ---ht. After downloading and installing it, guess what happened? All of the L.A. Noir [Rockstar Pass] DLC (currently available) finally appeared in the in-game store as "Owned - Installed"! :)

Well Thanks to the help here I was able to figure it all out. It allows us to get the items when they come out. So when electorplating and reefer comes out we can download them. The pass is like an advanced payment. Also will the consuls car be coming out on the 360 in the future or will it just be a PS3 exclusive? My traffic file is a little lopsided compared to the others case folders.
