Why is there no PC version planned? I was really looking forward for playing Read Dead Redemption and LA Noire with my PC. So Rockstar has died for me...

@Reyjonh @LiL.A.King @danisniper07 There will not be a playable demo of L.A. Noire. Instead of allocating the necessary development time to create a playable demo, we’ve remained focus on making the final product the best it could possibly be.

Someone asked about a demo. I'd be surprised if Rockstar releases one because I don't remember EVER seeing a demo of a Rockstar game, but I think this game should have one because I think a lot of gamers are skeptical about the game compared with Rockstar's other games considering that this game has no multiplayer and will be a more story driven game than an action game. So giving people a taste of things to come can persuade skeptical gamers to give the game a chance. But unfortunately it can also make people planning to get it change their minds if they end up not liking the demo. I've played some demos that were unappealing but tried the full games and enjoyed them and I've also played demos I've enjoyed but ended up hating the full game... so while demos can give a player an idea of what to expect it's really no better an indication of how good the game will be than a trailer for a movie is.

Another thing a demo does is give those of us excited for the game a taste of it before we get it. I played the Splinter Cell Conviction demo so many times I was able to complete it in 3 minutes (not including the cutscenes and the interrogation sequence) I think I spent like over 200 hours on that demo before the game came out.

It's just amazing. I can't wait for this game, it will be the best game, not just in 2011. I am very like adventure games and free-roaming games. And I love the 40's, I also loved MAFIA 2's atmosphere. And the detective stories with twists, oh my god I just cant wait. Please, hurry May 20!!!!!!!!!
