Join us this week for back-to-back sessions of the Social Club Multiplayer Events Series for Red Dead Redemption featuring brand new modes from this week's Undead Nightmare DLC release.  We'll be on PSN Thursday October 28th and on Xbox LIVE today, October 29th, both from 4-7PM Eastern.

We'll be having some players from Rockstar San Diego, the team behind Red Dead Redemption & Undead Nightmare, jumping online to play during both events to show you how it's done in Undead Nightmare's new multiplayer modes: the co-op zombie killing frenzy of Undead Overrun and the new Free Roam offering, Land Grab.  We'll also be diving into some modes from Liars and Cheats, Legends and Killers, the free Outlaws to the End and also some of the original Red Dead modes by fan request.

For the spectating type, be sure to join us when we turn on the live video stream and fire up the chat.  Both can be found on our Social Club Multiplayer Events page, the hub of all our official live streaming events.

Here’s everything you need to know for this week's sessions:

HOW TO FIND US
Start up multiplayer from the main menu.  This will place you into a Free Roam lobby.  Invite at least one friend and form a posse.  Then enter a game mode.  We'll be playing multiple game modes at the same time during the event.

HOW DOES FREE ROAM WORK?
Free Roam is the hub of your online experience.  Supporting up to 16 players, Free Roam allows you to explore with your friends and enemies, take out the gangs of outlaws or launch into more structured gameplay using the markers placed around the world.  We'll be forming posses and then heading into several game modes during the evening.

To form a posse, press the 'Back' or 'Select' button and use the menu.  This menu gives you several gameplay options and access to the list of players in your session.

FORMING A POSSE
For PlayStation 3, to start the game, invite your friends, form a posse and find Rockstar, follow these steps:

1. From the main menu, press 'Start' and then enter 'Online Multiplayer' by pressing the 'Square' button.


2. Once in a Free Roam lobby, press the 'Select' button to open the in-game multiplayer menu.


3. Press the 'R1' button and then the 'Triangle' button to 'Show Friends'.  Invite at least one friend into your posse using the 'X' button.


4. Once your friends are in the game, press the 'Triangle' button again to return to the 'Players' menu and select them with the 'X' button to 'Propose New Posse' or 'Send Posse Invite'.


5. Once you and your friends are ready to go, start up the game mode we're currently playing.  This can be found in the chat as the event rolls along.

For Xbox 360, follow these steps:

1. From the main menu, press 'Start' and then enter 'Xbox Live Multiplayer' by pressing the 'X' (blue) button.


2. Once in a Free Roam lobby, press the 'Back' button to open the in-game multiplayer menu.


3. Press the 'RB' button and then the 'Y' (yellow) button to 'Invite Friends'.  Invite at least one friend into your posse using the 'A' (green) button.


4. Once your friends are in the game, press the 'Y' (yellow) button again to return to the 'Players' menu and select them with the 'A' (green) button to 'Propose New Posse' or 'Send Posse Invite'.


5. Once you and your friends are ready to go, start up the game mode we're currently playing.  This can be found in the chat as the event rolls along.

Remember you must have one friend in your posse to play with Rockstar.  And as stated, pay close attention to the chat to know what game mode we're currently playing.

OFFICIAL ROCKSTAR GAMERTAGS/IDS
PlayStation Network IDs for Thursday and Xbox LIVE Gamertags for Friday include RedDeadDev3, RedDeadDev4, RedDeadDev5, RedDeadDev6, RedDeadDev13, RedDeadDev14, RedDeadDev15, RedDeadDev16, RedDeadDev17 and RedDeadDev18.  On PSN, #18 is RedDeadDev_18.
