Recap & Screens: Red Dead Redemption Social Club Multiplayer Event on Xbox LIVE (September 24th)

This week, we will be providing a series of recaps with exemplary screens from our last few installments of the Social Club Multiplayer Events Series - starting off with today's covering the Friday, September 24th afternoon of action with the Red Dead Redemption Liars and Cheats Pack on Xbox LIVE.
Players and spectators alike came to the multiplayer events page to chat and watch the stream, and for the first time ever we also embedded the live gameplay video right here on the front page of the Newswire for all to see.

In the September 24th event, we began in Stronghold in Fort Mercer, and our own RedDeadDev3 wasted no time in pulling out his Carcano Rifle and sniping Black Vulcano. Just after capturing the courtyard, xxSAMxx88, RedDeadDev3 and RedDeadDev4 headed for the Gallows: the last checkpoint. CJM86 stood in their way, taking them all out with a Double-barreled Shotgun. Players switched sides and when it was all said and done, we had a bloodstained draw. RedDeadDev3's Walton's Gang captured 4 of the 5 checkpoints in 9:11 with 62 lives lost, and the Redemption side captured 4 of the 5 checkpoints in 8:57 with 65 lives lost.
Next up, eight players fired off the starting line in Grand Prix during the Horse Race Carrera Del Diablo. HabilisOrian made quick work of RedDeadDev3 who was using new multiplayer character Marshal Leigh Johnson, dropping him with a Pump-action Shotgun. Later in the race, RedDeadDev3 delivered two blasts from his shotgun to the front side of x0 Mutley 0x and his horse, causing them both to tumble to the ground. Congrats to KLuTcH oX for getting first place with a time of 1:50.49, xLazarusRisingx for second with 1:53.14 and SERPENTOR OF NJ for third with 1:53.32.
Six players then entered Poker in MacFarlane's Ranch. The highlight happening during the second hand when RedDeadDev3 just about cleaned everyone out. Following CYPRESS 44 showing he had a King High Straight, RedDeadDev3 revealed his hand: an Ace High Straight. Trumped! The moment appears below in the screens. DeckerDaddy, QooDaMonsta, CYPRESS 44 and three of us Rockstars were in on this game.
After playing more Stronghold in Blackwater and Thieves' Landing as well as some additional Horse Races in Grand Prix, the Rockstars returned to Free Roam and played through some of the new Gang Hideouts, engaged in Tomahawk and knife fights and even manned cannons to fend off the law. ‘Twas an exciting way to bring things to a close, and the Double XP weekend was just beginning...
