.jpg)
In part three of our series on hunting in Red Dead Redemption, we'll be giving you the inside word on where to find particular animals. Whether you're collecting beaver furs for a stranger or looking for cougars to kill for one of the Master Hunter Challenges, we've got you covered with an A-to-W as it were of wildlife GPS...
- Armadillos - These can easily be spotted around any desert-like areas. Check for them in the areas surrounding Armadillo and Ridgewood Farm.
- Bats - Look above the basement entrance outside of Tumbleweed mansion or at the back of the blacksmith building in Thieves Landing right around 6:00PM to see a colony of bats fly out. They cannot be killed.
- Bears - Tall Trees is where you can find these beasts, especially in the snowy regions.
- Beavers - Look for these west of the Pacific Union Railroad Camp and north of Beecher's Hope, both locations along the water.
- Bighorn - The hills surrounding Tanner's Reach in Tall Trees is the first place you should search for these animals.
- Boars - The northeast area of Red Dead Redemption's map is where you need to be to find boars. Check southwest of Manzanita Post, southwest of Thieves Landing and areas south of Blackwater.
- Bobcats - Search south of Escalera, west of Agave Viejo, between El Presidio and Torquemada and also around Bearclaw Camp.
- Buffalo - Find the last American Buffalo on the plains west of Blackwater.
- Chickens - Look in almost any populated settlement and you'll find some of 'em roaming about.
- Cougars - Three places to start looking for these vicious guys are outside of Blackwater, all around Silent Stead and in northern snowy region of Tall Trees. Be sure to listen for the sound... As we've said before on Twitter, the most likely occurance is - you don't find cougars, cougars find you.
- Coyotes - Look around Hanging Rock north of Armadillo or on the hills surrounding MacFarlane's Ranch.
- Crows - Thieves Landing and Manzanita Post are two places to find plenty of these dark avian creatures.
- Deer - While deer are commonly found in many areas in the game, a few places to concentrate on are the snowy region of Tall Trees, west of Armadillo and south of Thieves Landing.
- Ducks - Around the edge of Lake Don Julio, located in southeast Cholla Springs, is where you should look for ducks.
- Eagles - Find eagles soaring in northern Tall Trees, most easily spotted atop snowy Nekoti Rock.
- Elk - Stand still in the snowy region of Tall Trees and look for movement in the distance.
- Foxes - Look in Tall Trees for foxes to be running near other dead animals. Also check at the Wreck of the Serendipity, a sunken boat found in the water northeast of Thieves Landing.
- Goats - Critchley's Ranch and inside the towns in Mexico are common areas for these.
- Hawks - Roam the plains around Warthington Ranch, just outside of MacFarlane's Ranch, to find them flying around the skies.
- Owls - Hunt them around Nekoti Rock in Tall Trees, in Beecher's Hope and around Chuparosa.
- Pigs - One place to easily find pigs is to step outside the second floor room where you save your game in Thieves Landing. They are down the stairs in the pen.
- Rabbits - Look for them in the area surrounding MacFarlane's Ranch. Search also around dry areas such as the land around Armadillo.
- Raccoons - Walk around the immediate outskirts of Armadillo late at night to find some of these critters.
- Seagulls - Check the docks in Blackwater behind the hotel.
- Sheep - These are located in a fenced-in area in Armadillo.
- Skunks - If you look around Armadillo behind some of the shops late at night, you should be able to spot a few of these.
- Snakes - The western end of Hennigan's Stead near the cliff edges is where you should ride around on your horse, listening for the rattling sound.
- Songbirds - Open areas such as Rio Bravo are where the search should begin for these elusive birds. Firing off a shot may scare some of them out of a bush and cause them to fly into the sky.
- Vultures - Vultures appear after a large fight, such as after clearing all the outlaws out of Twin Rocks.
- Wolves - Check south of Blackwater, north of MacFarlane's Ranch and also in Rio Del Lobo to find a good amount of wolves.

It would also be nice, if the RDR Devs could add
A Bow.
Fish or some fishing. We got a river with no fish in it.
More co-op missions (Like a survival mission, with endless wave of enemies. How long can we last.)
Open new areas of the map or add new maps.
Add more hidden stuff like: treasures, weapons find all the pieces to complete the weapon, etc....
First off, props to you in every respect of gaming. Your team consistently delivers and makes players feel connected to you by offering multilayer events, fixing glitches, responding to some requests etc. That being said, i feel as if i can post this and receive some kind of acknowledgment. I have compounded some ideas that I truly believe are reasonable and definitely worth everyone's while.
The story was amazing and sick in every respect, the competitive modes are awesome for honing skills, but in the end multiplayer free roam is, to so many people, the core of the game. Keeping that in mind, you offer an extensive world where a player can dive into and literally feel as a part of the West. The multiplayer freeroam has limitless potential, you rockstar are the Messiah, only you can deliver us, your servants the gaming community true immortality. Here are some ideas that I GUARANTEE will take free roam to an unprecedented level of depth, making this a game that will never be put down.
-First off, trains. We could really use some trains in free roam. Think of the possibilities? becoming a public enemy and then hopping on a train, fighting off posses who try to claim your bounty? How Sweet is that? something as simple as a train would give the player the ability to use his imagination and do all kinds of crazy things!
-let us use the wagon with the Gatling gun in the back! again, The possibilities are endless!! Imagine running through towns causing mayhem off the back end of a chariot of death!! its perfect!
-i know you've heard this before, but where the shizz is the lasso? how can we be denied the pleasure of dragging people around in free roam? Obviously the idea of players getting hogtied is not that appealing. but make it player friendly, there has to be some way to incorporate it in free roam.
-some way to turn off the golden guns, the blingage gets to be to much sometimes, Love it non the less, but some way to turn it on and off?
-Let us use the warhorse. That's not unreasonable? We could use it with that glitch, so it is possible! Its not like its some kind of super-horse that takes bullets like it's its job!! PWETTY PWEESE!!!!!
-Add that feature where by holding A, you can keep pace with your posse on horse back. keppign a steady cavalry charge is surprisingly difficult. :/
-MORE CHARACTERS!!!! you guys are doing great so far, but keep'em comming!!
-This is pusshing it, but how about some more legendary levels? I'm maxed and i don't know what to do :( Maybe add some more mounts. IE, how about a camel?! That be hilarious! Or how about an ostrich? Elephant? lol
-More animals! How about alligators in silent creek? Moose in the mountains? Bigger herds of buffalo!! let us relive the ancient times of overhunting!!
-Let us rob banks!!! like get points of for succesfully picking a lock, and then fleeing the police!
-Add bounty hunters in free roam!!
-How about dueles? double revolvers? Pull out two and lay down your own law!
- More activities! How many times can i attack tubleweed!!! lol
Simply put rockstar, you guys have created a game of unprecedented potential, all we as is that you give us that extra depth to take it to a whole new level. I GUARANTEE, people will pay for these things! Gives you guys an incentive, and us a reason to buy! Were not asking for handouts, just that little extra push to give us the chance to use our imagination!!! Rockstar, you will forever be the epitome of the gaming industry. you, unlike so many other game companies, allow us, the community to interact with you guys, for that we thank you!! I think everyone here will agree with me on most of these points, if not all of them. You guys never cease to deliver, I hope you guys will at least acknowledge this post!!!
To the community! Let me know if you guys agree with me, and bring it to Rockstar!! I know they can answer our calls with our united front!!! we love you rockstar, forever!!!
