If earning a Golden Joystick Award for best handheld game and becoming Gamespot's highest-rated PSP game of all time weren't enough, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars has now become of one of the highest-rated and critically acclaimed games of all time on any handheld platform. Here are just a few of the latest reviews:

At CNET, Chinatown Wars is "about as good as it gets for the holidays... The graphics are some of the best we've seen on the PSP, and the attention to detail of every last street corner and building is truly remarkable."

ABC2 News says "Chinatown Wars is that addictive and this is a good thing.  I haven’t played a game in a while, on any platform that I want to play as much as this one.  If you have a PSP and are over 18 (game is Rated M for Mature), this game is a requirement for your collection."

At PSU.com:  "Rockstar Games has done a magnificent job... "Chinatown Wars expertly implements two of the defining features that have long been synonymous with the record breaking franchise: impeccable attention to detail and solid gameplay mechanics... a near-perfect action game." 9.5/10

WonderWallWeb.com says, "Another must have title from Rockstar... GTA Chinatown Wars is faultless... There is nothing like it on the PSP." 9.5/10

With a score of 9 out of 10, "Chinatown Wars easily becomes another of the greatest additions to the PSP catalogue," states
TheLostGamer.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is a brilliant game...The storyline is great, the visuals are frequently stunning and there’s more life on the streets of this handheld game than most consoles could ever hope to offer," says
Sixth Axis. 9/10

GameZone says Chinatown Wars is "Without a doubt one of the most impressive and undeniable enjoyable games on the PSP.... Packed with all the things we love about this series and then adding its own unique twist, you can expect a surprisingly deep and involving game that will have you happily playing for hours."  9.5/10

"If you are a fan of the series this is a no brainer," says Just Push Start "But if you are new to GTA and looking for a long-lasting addition to your PSP collection I would highly recommend purchasing this." 4.5/5

"Get stuck into this," says Hellbored.com, "Because it has depth, fun, excitement, and longevity...Rockstar's explosive Chinatown Wars has arrived on PSP, and like the DS version, has become one of the must-own games on the system."  9.2/10

"The graphics are some of the best we've seen on the PSP" OK Rockstar, how much did you pay for that review? Best on the PSP??? Apparently I must be the only one who played LCS and VCS along with God of War and Dead Head Fred on the PSP that have graphics miles better than Chinatown Wars. Then again if a professional review says CTW is the best the PSP has to offer, maybe I imagined those games?

Damn right. Rockstar, as usual, shows it's supremacy. Even if it fails the all-important WolfRogers graphics quality test we all care so much about.
