Custom-made tracks continue to pour in over at the Beaterator Community area of Rockstar Games Social Club – with a wide range of styles popping up, and folks really conquering the more advanced Synth Editor and Effects modules available in Beaterator’s Studio Mode.
Here’s a couple of recent standouts we came across…
“Here Comes the Last Valley” by LeClone – an experimental trip-hop opus – love those twisty turny synths and surreal out-of-breath breakdowns…
“Rockstar” by SebiWoi – a very cool dance-rock jam with perfectly used vocal loops – “it’s a Rockstar thing..”
Meanwhile, check out this dude on YouTube – who mounted his PSP on the dashboard of his car so he could jam out while idling. “I got this and couldn’t wait to play it so I pulled over the MazdaSpeed 3 and started a live jam at the gas station using the loops that were on it. Kind of a dark DnB mix. Fun as hell to play.”
And finally, Timbaland himself recently phoned in to DJ Green Lantern’s radio show on Sirius XM and let on that he actually composed “Venus vs Mars” off Jay-Z’s new Blueprint 3 album by using Beaterator PSP. Tim also indicated that he’s using it to work up tracks for his forthcoming Shock Value 2 LP. Beaterator User-Created Jams on BP3 and Shock Value 2? Get it in…
