Dead Men Walking brings explosive co-op action to Max Payne 3 Multiplayer in a mode that pits you and a comrade against endless waves of enemies armed to the teeth and determined to end you. The longer you can survive the bloodthirsty masses, the more handsome your score – with various modifiers to aid your assault, rewarding you for superb Payne style combat and tactics. Using Bullet Time® and Shootdodge™, registering headshots, and dropping a target without taking damage will all earn you big bonuses and bragging rights.

As you fight each wave, you'll accumulate Adrenaline for wave-changing Bullet Time® Bursts and “Grit” that's used to unlock pain killers, weapons, attachments, new areas of the map and more. As you and your teammate advance, you'll encounter more enemies armed with better weapons, more accurate projectiles, tougher armor, smarter battle tactics and challenging Boss waves. The keys to success are teamwork, strategy and of course skill.

Dead Men Walking

You and your teammate each begin with a PT92 handgun, sixty rounds of ammunition, three pain killers and an itch to take on a wave of enemies already out for your blood.

Partners Till The End

Playing as Max and Passos, you will take on impossible odds, trying to stop a never-ending onslaught.

Four Levels of Grit

Weapons and checkpoints will require a set amount of your hard earned Grit. Spend it wisely and find the items that will help you make it as far as possible.

Tools of the Trade

Chests, drawers, cabinets and crates will be marked with colored icons that signify both the category of its contents and how much Grit it will cost you to acquire it.

Armed and Ready

The contents of each crate that you open will be automatically restocked as you take down more enemies and progress through the game mode.

Use Grit to Access More of The Map

Doors and gates will be color-coded to represent how much Grit is required to gain access into new areas of the level.

This Enemy is Organized

As you progress through each wave, you will notice that the enemies will not go down as easily as the last. Keep moving and stay with your teammate to survive.

Well Equipped and Lethal

How many waves will you be able to take out? Search out useful weapons and attachments and be better equipped than your enemy.

Boss Wave Destruction

After every third wave, you are going to come up against a Boss wave that will require planning in order to survive and continue.

You Will Be Tested

Coordinate your Bullet Time® and Shootdodge™ effects to take out the herds of enemies that will be gunning for your health meter.

Fallen Allies

The match is not over until both you and your teammate fall. Look for the rescue icon to show you where to take the fight and rescue your partner.

Under Armed Guard

Rescuing your teammate will not be an easy task and you will have to play smart to ensure that you do not meet his fate and bring about the end of the game.

This all-new game mode transforms one random player into the villainous Saci, Captain Baseball Bat Boy’s nemesis, and pits him against all of the other players on the map who must team up in order to survive his onslaught.

Armed with a Stun Gun, a few Flash Bangs and a weighty melee strike, the seemingly unstoppable Saci adds players to his side with each kill, turning them to his cause. The round ends when the timer runs out or one player is left unturned.

Once the person playing Saci adds your name to their roster, you will respawn wearing the character’s mask, letting others know where your loyalties lie. To add more followers to Saci’s cause, use the stun and melee approach.

Saci is Loose

Equipped with super strong, super light armor and unlimited stamina, Saci must "Turn" the other players to get them onto his team.

Five Rounds of Play

For the first round, Saci is randomly chosen. Then the previous round's survivor gets a chance to play as the devious trickster.

Fallen Prey

Once a player has been incapacitated with your Stun Gun, the newest member of your army is just a melee strike away.

One of the Turned

Equipped with a stun gun, and a death wish, you go after the enemy scoring points by turning the others.

Saci's Curse

Saci’s darkside recruitment drive is relentless. Unturned players score points for maiming and killing his gang and for surviving as long as possible.

The new Marked Man Multiplayer mode puts a spin on traditional Deathmatch and rewards you with more XP for taking advantage of Max Payne 3’s Vendetta system.

Players that succeed in the Marked Man game mode will earn five points for each Vendetta that they successfully complete and another five points for each Vendetta that they are able to walk away victoriously from.

To climb the leaderboards and earn the most XP, you must trigger and survive as many Vendettas as you possibly can. The fast-paced nature of Max Payne 3’s Multiplayer maps provides the perfect arena for you to rack up points, so move quickly and note your high value targets.

Mark Your Target and Stay Alive

This every-man-for-himself game mode simplifies the Vendetta system and rewards you for completing and surviving each Vendetta that you settle with your competition.

One Kill Triggers a Vendetta

With Marked Man, players can place a Vendetta after an opponent has killed them once rather than the usual twice in the other Multiplayer game modes.

Trigger Each Vendetta

The key to winning this modified Deathmatch is capitalizing on the Vendetta system. A standard kill is only going to earn you a single point, making your Vendetta targets five times more profitable.

The Time Attack DLC mode takes all of the fast paced, every-man-for-himself action that you have come to expect from a Max Payne 3 Multiplayer Deathmatch and begs you to take it to the next level. Now when you log those incredible Kill Streaks, and rack up a massive number of kills within a short period of time you are rewarded with the points to match.

The match starts like a traditional Deathmatch, rewarding you with one point for the first kill that you tally, but now a kill timer will appear next to your score illustrating how many points your next kill will be worth. Over time this kill clock will return to zero, so move quickly and register those victories.

Drop Your Targets Quickly

Like the classic Deathmatch, a kill can earn you a single point, but if you can move quickly and take out multiple targets within a short period of time, you will earn up to nine points for that same kill.

Crush The Competition

With the timer ticking, a run at first place within Time Attack is going to require a fluid attack plan and the ability to see your enemies coming from all directions.
